Just be aware that the skin will stop some notes from being played or triggered if it's on midi channel 1, and if the skin dll is in the same folder as the original, stereo output will be lost ... only mono out.

Unfortunately I have not been able to reproduce this bug, are other users having the same problem and and are you using mGUI v1.5.9.8 ?V'ger wrote:Just be aware that the skin will stop some notes from being played or triggered if it's on midi channel 1, and if the skin dll is in the same folder as the original, stereo output will be lost ... only mono out.

The Voyager_GUI.dll is not a vsti file, it needs the original Voyager.dll to function properly. Think of it as a skin only and the voyager.dll as the engine.debby wrote:well.. I belive you must have those files in the Asseca folder for the synth to work.

Maybe this is the same like happened with the notes in mine that the midi learn messed up the control.
Try to overwrite the ini file from the original like described in the post linked to by Asseca above.
Limeflavour: It works to have the Voyager_GUI.dll elsewhere, mine is in VsTPlugins\Voyager folder. The original Voyager.dll is in VsTPlugins\Asseca\asData\plugins.

But must say again that I'm totally impressed with the skin, the synth is now a joy to use.
It was a bit tricky to read some of the text that was gray on a 1920x1200 screen, but once I remembered where the controls were, it is lovely.

I only discovered today that there is this method of putting a decent skin on Voyager.
I love this synth very much, yet i always found it rather difficult to use for the GUI it has.
Now I can use it a lot more !
This is really good news

FAILED! these directions seem to be missing an essential step or two... help please.Limeflavour wrote:
How to install:Installation:
mGui needs to be installed in you plugins directory, mine would be D:/Vstplugins.
So, now you've installed mGui and for me it would look like this D:/Vstplugins/Asseca
Download the skin file LF_Voyager_mGuiskin.rar and extract it to the /Asseca/ folder.
! This step is very important !
Now you need to download Voyager and install it to the Asseca/asData/plugins folder, if you already have voyager just move it to the same folder.
Start mGUIman.exe, it's located in the Asseca/asData folder. Click the "Update all Dlls" button in the top left corner.
Start your Vst host and load the "Voyager_Gui" plugin, enjoy!

mGui is best installed OUTSIDE your plugin folder to avoid conflicts. (f.i. Program Files)
Then, in mGuiman, highlight the file in the left window and click the 'dll folder' button to place the skinned Voyager in your vst folder.

When I move the mouse over the gui it slows and moves in chunks or steps, when I move it over any other part of the screen its fine. It that normal or do I have a problem?
