Hi all

Several months ago I entered my 3rd Rhino bank into the Patch Arena Contest for Best Pad catagory.

Just recieved this news:

1st Prize: Tim Conrardy wins Absynth 2 for the 'Orbit' patch in his Rhino bank.

Still excited that I actually won soemthing! Thanks Tick for Rhino and for making it possible! Now I have to check out "Orbit" to see what was good about it

I see this as a Win for Rhino ! YEAH!

I just purchased Absynth myself. Time, you will be in pig heaven. When can we expect your first 5 banks? Congratulations...your banks are magnificent.

HECK NO! Rhino has a bigger horn

Like I said..I see this as a win for Rhino, and might even be good advertiment for it on the Big Tick news section: " Rhino wins at Patch arena" ( up to you Tick)

I noticed a lot of users getting Rhino so they don't have to get Absynth

But I am looking forward to trying it out. However it was a good feeling to actually win something !

Yup, exactly... for me, Rhino, z3ta+ and Crystal 2.4 about totally blew away any interest in Absynth. I wasn't impressed with the Absynth1 demo (it timed out before I could enter a moderately-complex patch from SpinWarp, and it wouldn't save or load either) and Absynth 2 has C/R copy protection.

Long live Rhino, Tick, & Tim!
