I'm wonderin'...will we (maybe) ever see Native Instruments in the esoundz.com store? Hey, I know they are competitors with IKM but who cares, right? Or, is there bad blood somewhere? I'd love to see some NI products with esoundz prices :hihi: :D

There's no bad blood between IK and NI. They're only direct competitors on some products.

Anyway, we mainly sell IK stuff because a lot of it has Sonic Reality sounds through collaborations we've done (and continue to do) with IK. It's also convenient that the US distribution is in the same building as SR. The US distribution for NI is in LA and unless they'd drop ship (doubt it) we can only stock up on so much. Plus we're not trying to be a full on music store. We're focused mainly on have an outlet for our sounds and some additional effects and modeling software. If there's a particular arrangement as a dealer that makes it easy we might carry more products from other companies. Perhaps NI. Perhaps FXpansion. Maybe other stuff. But we like it to be related to sounds somehow. Like the Kontakt upgrade or something like that. We'll see. Not in the immediate plans. We have plenty of other things to sell.

Then maybe esoundz should do some sounds for NI! Just thinking about a SonikSynth Koresound pack ...

Well, the patches of Sonik Synth - particularly the ones that use the processing of the SampleTank engine - will never sound the same in anything else but SampleTank.

But if you mean something LIKE a Sonik Synth... of course! Maybe not for Kore but for our Infinite Player which you can run inside Kore if you want and mix with Absynth... wow that would be good actually. I LOVE that Absynth too. Amazing synth. That and Alchemy are just mind blowing to me.

Anyway, all of our best samples (at the source) are coming over to the Infinite Player/Kontakt format this year. So if you like synths no problem. The cool thing is that there are at least 2-3 times MORE material for each category than what was previously released - or larger versions of them. So if you thought "Oh I LOVE these Emu Modular sounds or Serge and wish there was more" then you're in luck. We DO have more! A lot more.

I may try to do one Kore library for NI to sell just to see if that's financially rewarding though. Not so sure about a synth library per se' but maybe something electronic oriented. I don't know how many Kore packs sell so it is tough to say. We're focused and invested more doing it this way where we can do scripts and also have some copy protection.
