Actually, it's specific to anyone who downloaded the kits that were uploaded first. I doubt that I was the only person who downloaded the kits.
A simple "these are the kits we added" would be a sufficient answer, since there's no accurate indication on the esoundz website as to what I have downloaded.
I am not sure exactly what the question is but all of the phase 2 DM2 kits have been added to everyone's download area. The last ones to be added were the final Bonhm Ludwg kit replacing the previous download that was there for a minute (if you want to be sure you have the latest one then re-download the latest one). The last one added was a MISC KITS one that had all of the kits that had a red X from the list (and Stairway kit which was supposed to have a red X).

If all of the DM2 kits are not in your user area you know what to do... contact support. allen (at) esoundz (dot) com.

Again we can't do tech support in this thread. We have a community support thread going where people can help each other or report any issues they find. This is not the place for that. We won't be able to keep track of it in a thread that is 200+ pages and moving so fast with general discussion.

Btw, I missed your epointz reward so took care of it for you this morning. Sorry about that!

Thanks Squids.
I downloaded and installed the files. And by 7:40 AM I finally managed to fix my audio interface (unrelated issues). I completely forgot about the other thread. Sorry about that. I better get some sleep :)

Thanks again for your help.

Temporary lock while splitting off-topic posts to another thread. Since the thread for them already exists they'll be copied as quotations, with the original posters' names attached. No text will be altered.

[edit] Done. Here is the new thread concerning licensing issues:

I tried not to delete anything, just move posts whole. If I screwed up, apologies and feel free to repost whatever I messed up, but do it in that thread instead of this one.

Good for you! But, what's your point? That you actually LIKE going back and forth because you are anxious to get sounds? :?

Here's the deal...I may not get around to using ALL of these kits for several months (or longer) yet. I don't want to be in the middle of recording something only to find out the toms aren't working or missing, the snares or hi hats are off (for whatever reason) etc. and then realize that there was an update a week after I downloaded the kits that I was somehow unaware of. Yes, there will be fixes in any product but it's OBVIOUS these products are being released in a hurry and that is prone to human error (to be expected).

Yes, I KNOW I can contact Allen and he's offered great help and service to me before. I don't think I'm being unreasonable to ask for a final date when I can download with confidence, without all of this going back and forth in phases and re-downloading this or that. By all means, if this is fun for you then have at it. I think Squids is trying to accomodate the anxious here and I haven't complained about that as much. It's just not my preference to get everything in pieces like this. I'd rather someone just contact me when it's REALLY done! Well, whatever!

Well there are two things we can do. One is contact you when we have the final sweep of patches fixing settings or any issues we find. There's more than expected but this more complex than usual so... it is what it is. If you actually wait to download all of those tweaks are actually going to be REPLACED in the download (the beauty of download vs. DVD) so you won't have to think about ANYTHING. As to when? Whenever you want. After this coming week everything should be set for the stuff reported. There may be future enhancements like alternate hi hat choking methods and things like that but we'll do our best to keep the information on updates clear beyond the initial cleaning up of issues.

The second thing is understanding how it all works. 90% of the things we're tweaking are things you guys can do in 2 seconds. A cymbal isn't assigned to a slot? So assign it in the mapping page with one click. Choose a slot. We'll have all the mapping information of what a slot is and everything else you need to know to do whatever you want or need to do in a session. That is just as important I think.

Oh and yes videos demonstrations too. ;)

Thanks Squids! I think my a$$hole of a boss at work is gettin' to me bro  :help:

I realized after a bit of thought that I am overreacting a bit here anyway. It's all good and I'll be MORE than happy in the end :D

Hmmm.... I wonder if my employees say the same thing about me? :-o

Hey, no worries Blue. You're my boy!

OWD Kits 1,4,6 Size Discrepancies

I've downloaded these kits 3 times today with no errors and each time the size in Properties is the same, but differs from the website:

OWD Kit 1 Dry
666859051 (website)
666857340 (actual)

OWD Kit 4 Dry
606967277 (website)
606965566 (actual)

OWD Kit 4 Amb
682022863 (website)
682021152 (actual)

OWD Kit 6 Amb
646702080 (website)
646700369 (actual)

All the DM2 kits and OWD Kits 2,5,8-13 sizes match the website.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Post

1711 bytes in the four cases. Maybe a small file (like a .txt) was omited after writing the download's size in the site, or something similar.

I am 100 % with blueman here.
It would be nice if esoundz will inform when everything is ready and seems to work like a finished product to download.
I'm in no hurry to get these sounds right now, i rather want to install all this once with out fiddling around and waste too much time.
