Had a quick play yesterday, didnt have long (decorating), some great presets and great fun to tweak, had a fun little jam with cubase's beat designer.
Cheers

Hi,
I focus more on the other products since I have far more freedom with RPCX (Jon Ayres and myself) to get the sound I seek and features I want.
After the success of Albino it was logic for me to form a new team which is fully dedicated to RP products.
Albino 3 remains a classic and as long LinPlug does update it, so that it runs at newer OS you guys can have fun with it!
I am sure that LinPlug will release someday a new flagship with his own view to synthesis.
Maybe a new Delta, which will have features that you miss inside Albino3.
My view is very different then LinPlug and is fully reflected in my other products. Working together with Peter was for sure great, but I wanted more and formed a own team with Jon Ayres (RPCX)
In 2010 more products will be released and for sure LinPlug will make you guys also happy with new stuff!
Cheers,
Rob

Thanks to Peter and Rob for taking the time to clear the air for the user base re Albino, and cheers to both for their excellent line of products.
BTW, a new Delta was just what I suggested in the other thread as a fair enough solution... let's hope
But then again, if a soft synth is supported "as is" and not just left behind, *that's* already great in a easy-to-be-discontinued world like ours, so, Peter has to be thanked twice for his efforts.

IMHO Albino3 is still one of the best synths out there. Outstanding tonal qualities.
Pro-Sounds has hugh library for Albino (1024 patches) that they spent a long time working on - you might want to check out:

If nothing else get the demo bank of 128 patches.
