Will have to make do with my mac mini for time being.redshift factor wrote:Good idea, since the 6 core i9s should be available by then.hibidy wrote:I'm trying to push a new computer back to at least summer........

Take it up with Steve Jobs. You'll have to get in line, though. I'm still waiting for Flash and non-crippled Skype on the iPhone...speachmusic wrote:speachmusic wrote:And I thought the new imacs with a 2.8GHz i7 quad core with 16GB RAM was enough!! The thing with Skype on the iPhone is a) Apple is still preventing it from operating over 3G, even though AT&T has lifted the restrictions on voice over IP. b) Skype also remains the one and only communication app that does not support push notifications, which makes the iPhone pretty useless for recieving calls through Skype, unless you're going to leave Skype open all day and not use your iPhone for anything else.
I'm pretty sure Apple's evil hand is behind that, too.

I just got something saying the article was no longer available.firepile wrote:AmpliTube 3:redshift factor wrote:But will it be called AmpliTube 3, or AmpliTube Gear, or something else?

OCRegister obviously pulled it after getting complaints from developers (probably IK) about blowing their product unveiling.
This sort of thing is supposed to be embargoed.

...and you never know how the press interprets things. They can take things and run with them, anyway. There's some cool stuff here, for sure. The pics of the booth should also indicate that.
Edit - these pics, if you didn't see them: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=3 ... 146&ref=mf

Those photos are intriguing !
Sampletank 3 maybe???? With all the mpk49's surely it is something along those lines. And there is a special box with "ik" wrapping....hmmmmmmm
And maybe a new stealth product? The "stea" and "b" are showing, with obviously guitar hook/stands
