Still downloading the multitrack kits, but everything else seems to work and sounds great! I like the new hi-hat choking. IMAP is going to force me to work on deficiencies in my finger dexterity and make me a better piano player.

Sorry to be a pain, but can someone explain why the sizes of the downloads keep changing? OWD kits 1 Dry, 8 Dry and 13 Amb. are now different sizes from when i downloaded them last week. I have tried to redownload them , but i keep getting a zero k zip file. Same thing with the global patch update.

Well the samples aren't being changed, just the factory presets and some skins and stuff. You shouldn't need to download every kit again, just get the global patch update when you can.

I can't dl the global patch update right now, the same goes for IRs. The traffic is low but none of the downloads will finish. It's not a big deal, I can try tomorrow. Is anybody else having this problem?

im having the problem too. half of my downloads almost finish, until like 2 megs are left. and then it says 'file no longer exists'. i try to redownload, and i am told that i am allowed to view the page. there are checkmarks next to things that i have tried to download (but have not succeeded in downloading).

giving up for a bit. i assume that others are having the problem and it will get sorted out.

Ehem - cough - me too! But actually I am liking the new choke options maybe even better than my usual "safe to be sloppy" foot-only choking iMap. Eventually I think we'll have a knob where you can switch the options but actually it would require a lot of groups in Kontakt to do that so... already I confirmed this is what those extra 10-20 seconds of loading time are about. Groups and scripts. Kontakt takes awhile to load it and these scripts are not light. Very complex to be able to do all of this.

Btw, the MT kits don't have the new choke system yet. I will have to do that when I get home but I'll provide the optional patches. Works the traditional way still. I am going to have to update ALL of Drum Masters 2 MT and STm now with this but it is totally worth it. Plus I came up with a better way to play the edge open hat which is the same way I'd play crash and ride. Makes sense. I will do a new iMap tutorial better than I've ever done before with some helpful tips - especially using the latest iMap of Drum Masters 2 with round robin and new choking. Thanks to eBow and Sock of Gold for pushing me to do it. You were right (as Darth Vader said) you were right.

Thanks and we hope everyone cuts us slack for underestimating how hard this was to do. As you'll see tomorrow Ocean Way Drums - while still programmed by Sonic Reality (and sold on esoundz) is now distributed by ILIO. So this was our LAST chance to do any kind of mega deal like this at this price. A sort of token opportunity that we had to take while we had it and hence the rush. We REALLY wanted to make it great for you guys by putting in the custom script. That's not even IN the regular OWD. I will meet with them and see if they'll have us do it or whatever they want for the regular main versions. It's their product, we just co-produced it with them.

Anyway, if there's anyone else still thinking about getting this you better act soon. I will know after this weekend whether we'll continue selling it or if this is IT! Last chance. You can't say I didn't warn. I am totally serious about it.

One thing we are going to do even if we can continue to sell this bundle longer is get rid of the extras. This is going to start either way as of next Tuesday. Good news on the coupons though and the free hard drive for EpiK DrumS. Availability of those (and the free DM2 patch update for DM1 users) is set to be first week of February. Also the release of EpiK DrumS is that week as well or sooner. You know you made me think of something. I think next time we're going to do a SURPRISE bonus (like Jack in the Box). You won't know what sound you're going to get but it is like a prize you get in a cereal box. I used to love getting some stupid glow in the dark thing inside of CRUNCH BERRIES (and I loved timing it right so every bite had a crunch berry in it). But a free sound would be the adult prize. Last week i downloaded and installed OWD kit 1 dry size 704,448,883 and Kit 8 dry size 579,455,3331.
The new 1 dry is 666,857,340 and the 8 dry is 541,860,655. Seems like a big size difference. should i reinstall with the new ones, or will that screw something up?
