If the soundclips are of any judgement in quality, and going from the improvement from authenticity and reallness in Amplitube Fender from previous releases, I think we are in for a treat. With the release of something like the reasonably priced Stealth Pedal to compliment Amplitube, they have made it hard for you not to get a good ampsim tone, whether you use it with Amplitube or another sim.

I wonder if that new pedal pictured is the new slicer/gate effect we hear in some of the clips.

Comparing Amplitube version 2.0 to 3.0? What has changed as far as quality of sound? Really the gui isn't important 2 me. I can't make anything from youtube clips ever,youtube and mp3's all sounds like yuck to me.

the cabinet possibilities are now going to be the main "worth the price of admission" as I can see. Being able to x/y the mics and solo/mute them (which seems a step up considerably from the GR4 control room) should prove very handy in getting certain tones.

Who said anything about AT3? That article could have been a typo or an assumption. I think you guys must be talking about AmpliTube Jazz. All the best Jazz amps. It will be revealed tomorrow though "whatever it is".

Yeah, with Jaco-style Acoustic 360 and a JC-120 it could be AT Jazz! By the way, I played the 360 tonight. AMAZING. I might just go play it again. Neeeener neeener neeeeener!

IKmultimedia and upgrade pricing! I posted on facebook complaining about that! lets see if it is real upgrade pricing and not renamed crossgrade pricing! Cool that someone is listening somewhere.

there's no need to "win" me over, I have nothing against AT in fact I like it a lot. It's just a matter of how things work out and economics, I got GT3 (and a free upgrade to 4) at a good price from beta-testing something else (the lite version was bundled with it). That's how I came about Samplitude Pro, at 1100 bux I was satisfied with AA and FL for sequencer. When I got a crossgrade offer for Samp 9 pro at 399 bux I was all over it

Waves GTR3.5 came cheap as well and I got POD farm for free like many others.

Good to hear about the mics, but don't expect to hear a lot of stories about me. We're cousins but we didn't know each until late last century and we just now are getting closer. I would like to see him do good with the mics though, and I would like to be able to help him some.
