But still not as cheap or as useful as the Behringer FCB1010.

Seeing this doesn't make me regret getting the StealthPedal at all.
But the Behringer FCB1010 does a little.
The Behringer limits you to standard MIDI resolution, which could mean stepping depending on what you're controlling and how quickly you're doing it. USB MIDI has the ability to provide for much better resolution.

Also, the Behringer has no toe on/off switch under the expression pedal and I strongly suspect this does. If my assumption about Stealthboard is true, it means you'd be able to use it as an actual Wah-Wah controller (i.e. one foot/motion to turn the wah on or off) whereas the FCB would require you to step elsewhere to turn the wah on or off, then get your foot on the expression pedal.

Those two reasons alone make this a more elegant solution IMO.

I see what you are saying about the switch. That would be very helpful!

They might just work together quite well, there's a lot of "goesintos" and "goesouttas" on the back of that puppy... :)

I take it you can use the stealth pedal as the audio interface connected to the stealth board?

Peter - is this going to be Fender/Ampeg SVX ready?
Will those two be getting updates with the new 2-mic-per-cab VRM modeling, etc?
If so, free or paid?

second quarter of 2010 means a bit of a wait for stealth board. I'm really impressed that they did a functional all in one midi controller. Wish I had one of those pups right now!

AT3 is going to be sick.........feb isn't a long wait at all. Just enough time to save my 150 bucks

Sounds like in the press release ampltiube 3 can load fender and ampeg in it. Says modles form jimi and metal have been updated and included in amplitube 3.

Take it its making x-gear and the older packages non existent then? Very exciting about the new stuff!

Yeah, it makes X-GEAR obsolete. Good thing about that, too.
As I pointed out earlier, installing X-GEAR and the stand alone packages was redundant and a waste of hard drive space.
So it looks like X-GEAR is going to finally be transparent and you'll just unlock the whatever package(s) you own inside it.

So just open amplitube 3 basically, and it will run all the powered by amplitube products. Is handy and makes sense. Im assuming as alot of the models in jimi hendrix and metal have been reworked there would not be a need for them packages?

This will be on pre-order on esoundz TODAY with some extra benefits and a great price. I say this for current esoundz customers. We give away a free new RAW loop library with it called Hard Rock Grooves but there's also something else we're going to do... something with this: http://www.sonicreality.com/index.php/s ... r-jamming/

You're going to like that if you're a guitar player. I guarantee it (Squids Warehouse of Grooves). ;)

I added up the total number of modules of JHE and Metal, and I came up with 78. The AT3 literature says 70 models from Hendrix and Metal. But subtracting redundant models that also appear in AT2, there are only 54 unique models total in JHE and Metal combined. So I'm not sure exactly where the 70 figure is coming from, unless we get some identical stomps, delays, and mics with just different graphics.

AT3 is an upgrage for AT2, JHE, and Metal. So keeping those around would make about as much sense as keeping AmpliTube 1.0 around.

I added up the total number of modules of JHE and Metal, and I came up with 72. The AT3 literature says 70 models from Hendrix and Metal, so it looks like everything previously existing is still there, subtracting the redundant delay and Opto-tremolo...

Thought that was the case. Its cool I can give them to my brother in law who isnt in a position to get all the new gear.

Very excited about getting this!! Iv got all the amplitube packages apart from AT2, but will be getting AT3 as soon as i get paid in feb. Mind you got to check my pay slip to make sure I do have enougth. If not Iv got a project im producing for a guy in the Netherlands. Will just have to hurry up and finish it to get paid, then will have enough!!

I just reworked the math on the number of models. See my post above.
