An appeal to Squids:
Please consider distributing this digitally (download-able), and for the same cost as a boxed (shipped) version.
I noticed during the AmpliTube 4x1 promotion there was a disparity in price between boxed & digital versions - the digital one cost a lot more! Certainly in this advanced age the cost advantages to digital distribution can translate to the consumer?

http://www.ikmultimedia.com/amplitube/interface/ now has all the amp heads updated.
I was hoping for updated interfaces for the original AC30 and the Supro that no longer had those ridiculous ghost knobs. Oh well.
I hope at least that the integrated Ampeg SVX expansion in AmpliTube 3 will show the Amps as they appear in the standalone Ampeg SVX, instead of the conformed X-GEAR versions.

Congrats, IK !
Looks like they did a lot of stuff right this time.
AT3 :
- going by specs AT3 is completely in a class of its own, the sheer number of models is overwhelming and should offer interesting tones for the purists as well as for the experimenters
- if the sounds will live up to the expectations (benefit of doubt, IK have made big progress over the years) AT3 will be spectacular
- many cool new useability features, along the lines of what people were asking for and what goodies the competition has - well done !
- the integration of ATH and ATM was long overdue
- anybody noticed the mention of buying individual models in the future ?
StealthBoard :
- StealthBoard is a very nicely laid out MIDI controller, this should become a big success even for live players without PC.
Solid construction, small footprint, lots of expandability - looks like a complete winner (and I never really got the IK audio interface philosophy, seeing that the Stealths would have to replace your main interface)
- I might actually get me one of these for my live rig in summer
This goes to show what can happen if a company listens to their users and really does their homework ...

Peter, thanks again for the Stealthboard pics! So looking at the model list, does this mean that the original AT2 amps in this new package have been remodelled? I'm specifically looking at things like the AC30, JCM800, Supro, Tube Screamer, etc. I was under the impression from previous comments that they would be, but the old GUI's and the sheer amount of gear lead me to believe maybe not (besides, the original AT2 Super Reverb sounded pretty sweet).

Hi Peter,
may I inquire about two tiny, unspectacular details in AT3, please ?
- will there be a preference to have the tuner "on" by default ?
- will there be a preference to store the input level with presets or alternatively let a global setting override the preset setting ?
If you have your gainstaging correct there is not much point in changing input level settings, on the contrary, it makes using presets a pain (one of ATF's drawbacks).
If not, no tragedy, but please forward them to the devs as feature requests for a future update !
Have fun @ Anaheim,
susiwong

Don't forget the THD, still one of the best amp models I've heard, anywhere.Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote:Peter, thanks again for the Stealthboard pics!
