Just to say thank you for a brilliant GB. Thanks Squids for pushing us to buy and not to miss out, thanks to Allen and support for being there and thanks to bronxsound and everyone for charts, topic bumping and general FAQs. Only had a bit of a play (some kits refuse to download fully) but I'm sure it will all be sorted out soon. Quality is superb.....just used phaser on one of the snares and the hairs rose on the back of my neck. I couldn't believe I wasn't back in the studio. Closed my eyes and I was transported 34 odd years back when I started as a tape op and tea maker ha!
But please Squids have a real holiday and give us a GB free February, if not to reharge everyones batteries but to give us a chance to save!!

Well thanks for the thanks! We worked hard on it and will continue when we get back as well. This one is special because it is the pre-launch of Drum Masters 2. That is really what gave us the ability to have all of those new features. The funny thing is that the group buy requests of so many people caused me to look at things like the iMap a little differently and while for many years I avoided doing such strict choking on the hi hat because I FEAR hats being cut off when you don't want... the irony is that I actually LIKE it the new way possibly BETTER than my old way. You just have to get good at it like anything else. Requires more precision but the results are more tight and in a way it is also easier (you just can't slip). I found myself demonstrating the EpiK kits at the show which don't have that yet and missed the choking from the GB. So we'll add that feature in before it gets released.

Anyway, we appreciate how cool everyone has been in this group buy. I don't have any plans for a group buy in February but I am sure we'll do SOMEthing tempting - that is our job to tease you into submission. But I don't feel too bad about it because out of all the things one could buy this gives inspiration and helps to create music which spreads more inspiration and intangeable meaning to others. Cool things to buy and sell. Of course it is up to each person how to budget for those purchases but... we all find a way to get what we want! We just do our best to make some great stuff affordable so there's something for everybody. We're glad we were able to do that in the recent Group Buy.
