In your eSoundz Downloads section you should have the second Redeem Code, for "Ultimate Drums Phase 3".Thuneau wrote:I never saw Toontrak EZPlayer Pro in my downloads.
Was it part of some options to choose? I really wanted it.
This can be redeemed at DownloadableSoundz and you then choose 2 out of 5 items, one of which is EZPlayer Pro. If you choose EZPP I would think that then you will later get an EZPP Serial Number and instructions on how to use it. [I think that the EZPP Serial numbers are manually assigned by Allen (Alien) so it may not be until tomorrow.]

That wasn't clear at all that it's the EZP. I selected two kits. I wish I could send back one of them.

PDF? I don't know, I have not redeemed that code yet, so I do not know what the choice screen looks like.
You might be able to get EZPP instead of one of the kits, IF you have not downloaded them yet. Contact Allen at .... and explain your mistake.

I've noticed that if I send MIDI note 0 it changes the Mapping on every instrument in the currently loaded Multi by going up one selection in the dropdown (i.e. from Custom to Vdrum). If I send MIDI note 2 it changes the Mapping on every instrument in the loaded Multi by going down one selection in the dropdown (i.e. from Vdrum back to Custom).
Is this by design, or is it a bug? I wouldn't think MIDI notes should control settings, that you should use CC for this.
Does anyone know how to change this behavior?

For those getting errors, "Samples not found..." or similar:
I solved this (with the Chicago kit) by manually searching through the "Infinite Player" folder and deleting EVERY instance of any file with the name "Chicago" in it. The problem is, whenever you drag and drop the .zip file into the IP installer and something goes wrong (for whatever reason) it leaves behind the problem files. When you reinstall it or even manually override a few files it won't always help. I kept trying to replace the .nkx file with no luck. After going through and searching the entire folder and deleting everything related to the "Chicago" kit, I re-downloaded the kit .zip file and installed with the IP installer. Then it worked!
So, start with a fresh install after doing a search and deleting any files from the unsuccessful install and that may help.
Best,
R

I created a snare multi of all the snares of the GB. You should be able to audition the snares chromatically starting at C2. I have the kicks coming also, if you find this helpful. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4085048/Snare%20multi.nkm

What was the solution to the reported problem of the Premier multi kit looking for the file "NDV MT Grtsch Kit_128.nkx" ?
I know somebody mailed Allen and it sounds to me like a misnamed file in the original preparation of the Premier multi kit for this GB (perhaps it was derived from an earlier effort to create the Gretsch kit?)
It sounds unlikely to be anything to do with the installer or download corruption (that's just a voodoo explanation, usually). I also can't buy the explanation that it was due to a failed install of zip files leaving garbage around, which you can clear up manually. Why would it even know there was a Gretsch kit file to refer to if, like me, you didn't take the Gretsch option, just the Premier kit?
I am guessing there was a plain simple human screw up in making this multi track kit up, which isn't evident if you install them all, but throws errors if the only multi kit you have is the Premier kit. I also suspect the only solution will be some kind of update.
Any comments, Allen or Squidz?

Here's a work around for the missing files problem.
I looked in the infinite library folder and found the file that has the correct cymbals in it = NDV MT Premr Kit_133.nkx
Then I just renamed it to NDV MT Grtsch Kit_128.nkx , which is what Kontakt 4 player is looking for.
Now I have the 2 crashes and the china with Premier skins.
I hope Allen can clear up the confusion about why it was looking for Grtsch files.[/code]
