Apparently AmpliTube 2,Hendrix and Metal are incorporated in AmpliTube 3 (with updated models too) so hanging onto these 3 would be pointless. My AmpliTube 2 was a freebie so I would just have the other two *for sale* if I did want to make a whopping 20-30 euros back.. :hihi:

Im referring to this post:

Apologies, if that's not what you meant..

I'm an AmpliTube Fender™ and Ampeg® SVX™ registered user, but have not received the e-mail. Do you mean I should contact you directly?

I own all the amp sims also. I started with Amplitube uno, then bought Ampitube 1. Bought Ampitube 2 in 2006. But still no coupon. Any one able to use the coupon and jam points together?

If you could give it until Tuesday, and then contact me about the coupon I'd REALLY appreciate it. I will also ask and make sure that they are still going out once the person who manages that is back in the booth. Thanks!

No problem, no hurry, I was just wondering if the jam points can be combined with the coupon.

Ohhh... in that case, I can say that no they cannot. Multiple coupon codes cannot be used on the same purchase. You'll want to see what you have more of (up to half what AmpliTube 3 costs) and apply which is better.

Does that include the "upgrade"? Can "Jam Points" be used for up to half of the upgrade price as well? I certainly hope so!

Ok, that is what I thought. I have 94 jam points so I think I'll use those.

Yes. Enjoy!

Anyone know if jam points expire? I'd like to wait and see if they package amplitube 3 with their cool new midi foot controller StealthBoard!

I am having difficulty understanding why there is no mention of 32 bit or 64 bit in any of the literature, it only mentions Windows 7.
64 bit compatibility would be my main reason for upgrading and given how long these systems have been around I had assumed that major manufacturers releases would come in 64 bit as well as 32 bit versions now.
But absence of any mention makes me think that Amplitube 3 is 32 bit only and for me it means two plugins I will not purchase, but that I really want -- have not got the Fender either. When are IK going to make a start on this because as soon as I get some definate clarification about when, then I will look forward to buying IK products again.

What do you mean exactly by 64bits? are you using a 64bits host?

People seem to confuse the 64bit OS with the 64bit plugins

Yes, I purchased the upgrade price and used 50% of the cost from my Jam Bucks (or whatever they are called)... got the upgrade for $100 as a result since the upgrade price is $199.00

I wasn't sure if the jam points would be able to be used for shipping as well so I didn't take the chance and only converted $100 of jam points to my coupon code.

All in all, NOT BAD.... and with all these new features, FX and amps... I really can't wait until they start shipping.

I was really impressed with how dynamic the effects settings appear to be in AT3... in AT2, they seem to be either too much or too little with not much dynamic response.

Not saying no one would want the box, but I hope there is a download version for those that prefer it.
