thank you very much :-)
Just download the windows demo, it has a windows help style manual it installs into the program (not the vst) directory.
thank you, but i am on a mac, so cant do it this way. Just tried to find it in the macinstaller as well but no luck...
so please, i'd really appreciate any help here. Hopefully that will be included in the next version of the beta for macusers...
It's a quick hack but I created a "printed" pdf manual from the windows help. You can download it here. It's not terribly pretty but the core information is there. :)

On a side note: The pad assignment starts with C3 - at least that's what it says on the GUI, but to trigger them you have to hit notes from C1 on. That's with the VST version in Cubase 5.1.1 32bit, Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.
Nobody with that particlar problem?
I think this has something to do with what naming convention you use for your notes - Drumatrix starts from C1 (midi note 0) if my memory serves me correctly. Other conventions start at C-2 and also C-1 ;)

Isn't that exactly the problem? It does start with C1, but it says C3 on the Drumatrix GUI/Pad!

I like it so far. Was gonna ask about the pad velocity faders, but I see that's been brought up.

Nice sounds for sure.

i guess, u didnt understand, bM3w. midi messages can have 128 note values.
note names are not universal. while its true note 60 meaing C3 is pretty much the industry standard, Sonar denotes note no. 60 as C5 or MidiOX has 60=C4 (official midi spec)...
its not a bug, different note namings are no big fuzz, imho. if u cant live with it, use a simple midi note transposer insert fx.

OK, so you're saying even when I hit C1 on my keyboard it actually is C3? Sorry, but that's weird, because pretty much every other plugin and the internal piano roll visually indicates C1 when I hit C1. Even Drumatrix plays the Kick on C1, while the pad is labeled C3. I do understand MIDI messages, but I'm wondering if this is just a typo in Drumatrix or a particular issue with Cubase? Sure, nothing serious and certainly nothing I'd need a transposer for

In the language used by Drumatix, you're hitting C3 on your keyboard, not C1. It's not the language you're used to -- or even the most common one -- but there's no universally followed standard, so I have to agree that it's no big deal.

Looks like the FL people prefer to start with 1 instead of -1. Seriously, who thought that starting at -1 was a good idea? :nutter:
Surely there must be consensus by now...

Right, that's the #1 question. I'm enjoying the demo, not enjoying the fadeouts. I think this seems like a winner, as sims go. I do the GB-sized drumkit sampler shtick, too, but sometimes all you need is .... a simple drum machine.

Yeah! I'm itchin' to buy this!! :hyper:

Am I the only one who thinks the sounds are a bit weak? I'm also disapointed that this beta is actually a demo with audio dropouts. All the presets are way too loud ... like around 12db too loud. I'm getting a 10 - 25% CPU hit in Live 8.1.1 on a 1.6 dual core XP system, depending on the preset patch/pattern.
