Please, help Us trying to figure out what our next soundbank should be :

Pick one of the selected synths or propose one :) ( This is a short list of the synths I'm currently interested in )

You can make a more compete vote by adding your synths by order of preference like the following, because in fact we are interested in all demands.

1/ Your Vote
2/ This Synth
3/ That Synth
4/ ANother Synth ....

All suggestions welcomed, all comments appreciated !

Thanks in advance for taking the time to vote :)

Hi SimOon,

Well these are nice freeware synths, and we definitely cant offer hmmm commercial soundbanks for freewares, as it would maybe lack of ethics (only imho though no offense here if someone decides to do this)

When I can or when I have some free times, and only when I love the synths, I offer some free presets for some -also commercial- units. We also have a few freewares on the site.

But my own idea is that the freeware community has enough strength and vitality to engender both synths, effects and presets. And that people who often use some freewares should, if they can, contribute with some presets for their favorites, or maybe give time to make sites where people can share ressources and connect together.

Well at least its what I'd do if I had more time to invest into the freeware community.

Just my 0.002 here thanks for asking and sorry for the negative answer.

Well Kris, we have already, with Peter Schelfhout, covered Ultra Analog with our 260 presets Nec Plus Ultra soundbank.

You'll find more details on the site, as well as many comments of users, including some nice people from Kvr, and users, of this particular bank.

And guess what, I'm not sure but I think I included in the bank an _init preset that I crafted for my own needs. Well I'll check if its in the soundset, but anyway I can also send it to you by email if its not. Just Pm me on Kvr or join me thru the contact us utility of the site.

Else I'm very surprised that people still request some instruments for Omnisphere, with all the huge ammount of patches already available and the latest 2000 instruments free add on Spectrasonics made. I didnt expect so much voting for Omnisphere tbh but I like the synth so ....

Well we'll see where all this will lead.

Thanks to all the people who already voted. This really help us a lot, and might also be usefull for all the other SDs reading this thread ( Hi guys ^_^ )

Keep on voting and requesting :)

My vote is for Kubik (by Concrete fx) a vastly underrated (imo) wavetable synth. It's been around for a while but it got a facelift recently (December 2009), and it's now dual platform too.

Hi Mikusan,

Yeah I remember Kubik, and was impressed by the inherent sound possibilities, and equally frightened by the Gui and workflow.

Well I might give it another go, if there are enough demands for it. I still use some Vstis from Concrete Fx. A very innovative company in their time, though I thought they were mainly involved in their collaboration with Rob Papen during the last years.

For the two drums units : The soundset would include both instruments AND grooves/patterns btw.

Keep on voting :)

If Eric Persing could see that :-o

Ok keep on voting guys and many thanks for the feedback.

Honnestly I could never have guessed the results sofar ( Like not a single vote for Minimonster, or ImpOSCar 2, though its not yet released, wich might obviously be a good reason )

Yeah very surprising AND instructive poll.

Thanks :)

Eventually last BummPp

So nobody interested in intruments + Groove Patterns for the drum machines ?

Well I thought it could have been an interesting new kind of soundbanks, but its true that people are overwhelmed by loops, midi grooves or group buys combining some of the above aso nowadays.

Else the winning trio seems well established now.

Anyway every new vote brings something so if you have a short time to invest in this please .........

Keep on voting :tu:

I voted for Omnisphere but I would be very interested in the drum machines' patches too. I think it's natural that they get lost among a synths' poll.

Maybe they deserve their own poll later, when eveybody has grabbed his drum machine.
