The plugin works perfectly in my Cubase.. can't wait to buy it!
A few names i came up with:
DRUMZONE
DRUMSCHTICK or DRUMSHTICK
or maybe one that complies to the latest trend of having a K in your name:
DRUMKORE
or just DRUMCORE

There were enough betas with the same scheme from other developers.jdt wrote:Yup, me too. It's pretty strange to get a Beta with a Nag Screen and dropouts. I can understand disabling rendering and preset saving, but it is a bit hard to evaluate a plugin when the sound drops out every 10 seconds or so. You kinda expect it in a demo version of course, but I've never seen it in any other Beta release I've tested. Guess they are just that close to a final release. So I'm waiting for the final release to see what it can really do I guess.funkychickendance wrote:Right, that's the #1 question. I'm enjoying the demo, not enjoying the fadeouts. I think this seems like a winner, as sims go. I do the GB-sized drumkit sampler shtick, too, but sometimes all you need is .... a simple drum machine.Ardtreck wrote:When can we buy it?

thanks for referring to my efforts trying to improve drumatrix.Aloysius wrote:I found that the CPU hit, depended a lot on the chosen kit (Pad Instrument) OK. As for PM being CPU hungry, I'm not sure how that translates. I use some AAS PM Products and they are nothing in size to download and/or run. I don't believe that PM is heavy on processing by default. The fact that quite a lot of the sounds seem to me to be grainy would suggest lack of waveform detail to me as well. Gotta go . . . my battery is dying. Catch ya later . . .amiga909 wrote: Blah, blah, blah . . .
agreed, 'PM = heavy on cpu' isnt true. waveguides and karplus-strong are known for efficiency. also, xoxos (i believe) proved mass-springs can be implemented efficiently. thus, i thought its widly recognized that 'real' PM that can deliver realistic sounds, can be considered as being heavy on cpu (for sure, the brutal force idea of calculating all physics in realtime is).
which PM technique was used for drumatix?
any1 can confirm the aforementioned presets cause cpu peaks?

any news on drumatrix being able to send midi out? the sequencer is oh so lovely and being able to use it to control other synths would be more than awesome.

i'm amazed that you received a complaint about the name - it's not like you would have been harming the reputation or name of a 15 year old book. But it speaks volumes for your respect to others (or perhaps their lawyer's ferocity?) that you add a link to them on your homepage and talk about changing the name. Just downloading now, really looking forward to trying the demo...will be buying if it as good as I think it is...
