Another great one would be SonicProjects OP-X Pro...AFAIK, there are no third party banks for it, and it is one of my favourite synths!

Yeah Good point Standalone. Dont want to pultiply polls, but eventually this one will come laterstandalone wrote:I voted for Omnisphere but I would be very interested in the drum machines' patches too. I think it's natural that they get lost among a synths' poll.
Maybe they deserve their own poll later, when eveybody has grabbed his drum machine.

Hi Sunhome, sunhome wrote:Loomer Aspect or Audjoo Helix; please
Well I wast even aware of Loomer Aspect, but I'm going to take a glance at it
As for Helix, Brok Landers already did some nice works for it. Problem with Helix is that it doesnt seem to be so much widely spread, but I agree its a very capable synth. We might include it in another poll when the case will rise again. However is some more people wish some instruments for Helix, well its the right place to indicate this

Yeah why not. When I demoed this one a long time ago I was a bit disapointed by what I could get out of it vs all the infomercial or elogious talk I had heard about it (he can do all vintage sounds from all venerable analog monsters aso ...)
Might be a good candidate but I wonder if it will bring me a lot of excitment after having done such great VA like ImpOSCar, all the Korg LCae, then Ultra Analog, and various other works in the VA field. In my souvenirs, this synth was ok but lacked well ... a bit of personnality, or the uniqueness that makes you attracted towards a synth, or not. Maybe its only me
But well if there were a lot of demands then why not, I might give it another(more serious) try ?
Anyway thanks for voting. All clues are good to take for us

Just out of curiosity, is there any reason why you never did any banks for Zebra and it's not on the voting list either?
It is a pretty popular synth these days with a quite large userbase I guess
My vote goes to VA Surge by the way

Yes there are some reasons. One of them is that in the first versions I had a problem with hi freqs in Zebra ( known at that time as brightness problem )
At that time almost nobody seemed to think like me so I just said well ... that's me.
Then Urs made some updates and I admit the sound of Zebra was far more appealling, especially when hearing what some people had done with the 2.5 version.( I still only have an old demo somewhere on the test Pc )
But meanwhile a lot of VERY talented people ( like Mike Restrup, Brok Landers, Arksun, of course Howard to name a few) had made some very good soundsets for Zebra, some of them with a style that I consider
So that I was always wondering if I could add something really "new" to Zebra. Probably for a few dozens of presets, but maybe not for a BIG soundset. Hence why I prudently stayed away from Zebra since this time.
And thanks for Surge

It seems as though the leaders in this unscientific poll are also the newest so folks have them in mind or just bought them .
If KVR allows it , I think it would also be interesting to do the poll w/o the results being visable . I read about some studies that show radically different results in polls of two groups rating the same set of songs , but once the group with the visable tracking has a front runner , then it seems to be all over then ( popularity , following the pack, group think , ect. ).
I love Surge , and think it is Sooo underated , but I've already voted for it at your site and pestered you about it here at KVR , So , in a bit of frustration , I voted harmless ( mostly cause I've made strides with surge programming! and don't want to take on HL!!) .
Anyway , You are top in class and quality as far as sound sets go
! I love your attention to detail with the included sound sets pdf's!!
I wish you would just do a mini set for surge and see if you can't get some purchases going for this fine little orange beastie!!!!

Else I think you're right, Poll results would be different if we couldnt see the results prior voting.
But then it would imply that people not voting would never see the results. Or maybe its because of technical details that the polls are made this way. Dunno
Else the Poll results are as clear as surprising -for me- in terms of expectations. So one of the next soundbanks will indeed be among the winners here
Keep on voting if you want to express your will for one of the units in this poll, or another one, or indicate second third choices etc.
A BIG Thank You for all those who took the time to vote : It was VERY helpfull for us

Yes, you're right, pleasure to program and depth in programming is certainly an important criteria, at least on my side
This said please note that we're going to make a soundset ofr one of the winners at least, but its not mandatory that its for the 1rst one. It could be indeed the 2nd, but it will be in the top 5.
You cant make a poll like that and still ignore the answers, while you cant be tied to make a soundset for the winner only. A bit of liberty is required for everybody I guess
So ......... Omnisphere still needs one vote, unles its Harmless

Why not making for both synths a set?So ......... Omnisphere still needs one vote, unles its Harmless
Harmless is atm very famous/good know, and no soundset for it on the market
Omnisphere is(so far as i know) also no soundset on the market and a good set for it would be surely a no-brainer

Probably because there are only 24 hours per day and that I'm a slow worm when it comes to sound design
But I know for sure that some soundbanks are on the way for some of the synths mentioned in the poll by some of our SDs too.
When/if they will be released is another question though, as always
As for me the next one belong to the top 5. And the one after the next one probably belongs to it too
Then thanks to everybody who did vote sofar. 80 votes is a real nice score for a poll
