I've released LoudMax 1.07:

The GUI has been redesigned by LimeFlavour based on the idea and colorscheme of Sinkmusic.

The audio algorithm is improved. This will better keep the original character of the input material even at high compression.

Hi Thomas,

For sure the new GUI is GORGEOUS and it know looks as good as it sounds ;).

Good move on that.

Cheers to you and Lime :D.

By the way, it would be good if you set up a simple web page for this and your (maybe) upcoming plugins.

With a listing of the basic features, how it works...

Yeah this one is simple but a little bit of background about you and your developments is always interesting.

Just an idea.

Maybe i really should do that. I never created a web page and first have to figure out how it works. But i will try the next time. Until then i have submitted the plugin with a short description to the kvr database. It should be available soon.

super simple plug- sounds pretty good on the material i've fed it so far, even with some heavy-handed smashing.

Thanks.

I actually find the gui hard to read but since there are only two controls who cares

looks very promising

Thanks, sounds good. I still have all 5 versions on my computer.

I've been using it for per-track limiting when needed, it's the quickest plugin to do that. Tried it on a full mix today, but I was pretty wiped out and just slapped it on there.

Thanks, will check this out..

Nice...Simple no fuss and quite transparent now when not pushed to hard on non-bass heavy material. But even on bass heavy stuff it easily will get into the commercial loudness range with stealing your snare. Thanks for the yet another FREE commmercial quality plugin... I luv the age of the DAW and the Internet! :D

great plugin.
nice to have a brickwall limiter + maximizer.
for live, i tried a few limiters to have a quick+dirty 'auto-mastering'. most stuff i've tried (elemental, voxengo) was too risky (killing dynamics or being not lough enough).
i'll have to check it under different conditions. per track is a nice interesting idea, runbeerrun, especially when its easy on cpu.
