SynthMastar2 VS Korg Radias

I think SynthMastar2 is really good synth.
I don't know any soft synth like this.

Yes.. But, I don't know what hardware can be compare with it
(cause I know only a few hardware)

But, I think SynthMaster2 can compare with Kong Radias.
I have some Korg Radias demo songs.
and I feel two synths are nearly same sound

You can buy kong's recent nice modern synth with low cost

KV331 is important synth maker
I think KV331 will make most nice Virus someday

Radias? mhmm 1 year ago i want to buy a radias, but i switch than to blofeld, because for the money i get in the hardware-world more for that price. The radias sounds good because the filters and drives. He is more useful for the butter&breed-sounds(based on the mmt-engine and pcm'S...)

How many cost a radias atm? ~600-800€.
For this i get a virus t1 with many luck.

or i get for this the synthmaster2 and have still 500-700€ in the wallet

and with the new filter-features, which bulent is planing, the sm2 will be better than now. and the new filters+drives together with the wavetable engine - there you need no radias. And radias can't morph 16 wavetables to 1 etc. Synthmaster is there much more flexible and more synthese-function. Much more value for money with a good sound. And i personally use him much for sample-design.

When I listen SM2's nice demo songs, I just thought that is nice.
But, SM2 sound is better than demo songs at homepage

In my audiodemos for synthmaster i use an other reverb. And only a smart outputchain(eq for low- & highcut, comp - very smoothly gr~3 db, and limiter for catching the peaks - max. attention ~3db)

btw as tip, try on some sounds to change the oversmapling options, patches which use drive and distortion sounds than sometimes a little touch different, some better with 2x, some better with normal.

But.. Why other reverb? I think no need other reverb. and I think SynthMaster's good point is out when there is no reverb. SynthMaster tone is good it self. I think delay is better than reverb

The reverb in Synthmaster is not that good. I will be improving it once I finish the work on the filters:

The demo songs on the website that were created for the song contest, aren't a good representation for the best sound that Synthmaster 2 is capable of, in my opinion. I think most of us were concentrating more on the song itself rather than creating the best sounds we possibly could, at least in my case. I just didn't have much time to devote to sound design, maybe 2 or 3 days to create around 14 sounds while still learning my way around it. That just shows how easy it is to design sounds in Synthmaster 2. It's a complex synth, yet I remember only referring to the manual once to check some modulation options, thanks to such an intuitive and well designed interface.

I'm not sure how many relied on factory sounds or designed their own, but I think the quality of the sounds used in those demos are pretty incredible, and prove the synth sounds great in a wide variety of electronic genres.

Because the current reverb is in my eyes only good for some special settings, more as fx-reverb useful, for the normal clear reverb-usages it's not the best choice, and bulent says me, before the official release, that he will build in a new reverb, so i let the reverb disabled in the most off my patches.

well.. I feel Synthmaster2 filter sound is really same with Radias filter sound too.

Somebody can tell Synthmaster2's filter sound is noisey. But listen to the first demo song at Korg Rasias URL, you can hear same noise sound at that song.

When I hear some noise sound, I just down cutoff

Firsty I just wanted to thank you for your honesty, sincerity and uprightness in all your posts throughout the KVR forums.You are really in my opinion a cool great person!!!!

Secondly it is true that the Demo songs really had us in "song creation" mode rather than sound creation mode.

Solar-rain I'm sure you"re sounds on "Broken" were made by you in SM?

The sound in the demo Entheous are 100% preset sounds with no extra effects at all. The lead sound in the song is a preset called "Square Legs" Which I modulated with my M-wheel, very expressive sound!!

I have posted a new topic the Everything Else collum about a project on Gospel Hardstyle and Vocal trance that I wanna do. I wanna put Synthmaster hard through its pace in this project and eventhough I've got other Synths there I actually would like Synth Master to be my Feature Synth or if possible "The only synth" in this project.

So keep your ears ready because as Synth Master improves so will OUR Music also improve!!!

I think don't need to say SM2 demo songs are very nice.
I didn't belive those songs were maded by internet user cause many songs are very professional. So, I thought maybe KV331 bought songs from professional musician. and still I am.. If not, How could you explain about 'BROKEN'?

Nevertheless, I said so and I guess there is two reason.

first is about Flash player

I don't know about this Flash player on the web. but, I visited virus homepage some days ago. I heard some domo songs from flash player. and I have got some mp3 virus demo songs. These song are down loaded from same virus homepage some years ago. and one song is same. but, I felt Flash player song is much bad. I though two song are diffrent version.

and, other point is a view of competition with hardware.

Hardware demo songs are especially excellent. They make songs for synth with best artist. So, I think KV331's Preset demo song idea is very good idea.
