I like to compose some music with staff view.
this is similar to writing in note with pen but with sound.
so I prefer to use sequencer that has staff view.

Bullshit.
That pretentious philisophical bullshit your jazz teacher said could have just as easily come out of the mouth of Yoda or Mr. Miyagi. Chord changes, chord names, note letters...all merely labels for things that can be done without knowing their "names" or consciously knowing how they work. Having an ear/intuition for what works for you is independent of being "aware" of chord changes.bhairav wrote:I had a jazz improv teacher who described this as "you can't play outside [the chord changes] if you don't know how to play inside." And its completely true - even if you have no formal training you have to have an ear/intuition for what works and what doesn't to use as reference.
