de la Mancha wrote:Hello, in light of another thread happening here at KVR, I thought I should provide some proof of the fact that I am donating the sales of ballistic to Cancer Research UK

Here you will find copies of the emails from Cancer Research UK that they sent after each donation: http://www.delamancha.co.uk/misc/ballistic/

To date there are 4 donations

Aug 09: £630.72
Sep 09: £71.51
Oct 09: £38.79
Nov 09: 173.99
---------------
Total: £915.01

Actually the UK Gift-Aid scheme is 25% (the tax office give 25% of the donation made to the charity), so the charity will receive £1143.76

If you're eagle-eyed, you'll spot that all donations are made in the first week of the month, except November which was made today. I did make an online payment in the first week of November, but it got bounced back by my credit card and so I fixed it today.
I've watched your "progress" with great interest, since (IIRC) you started UNI way back @ CM/FM's (forums) prime.

Aside from being extremely multi-talented, YOU have always struck me as someone with integrity.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, but I'm happy to be upfront about these things, you should be sure your donations are going where they are supposed to.

Just made Novembers donation of £43.80, so a total of £958.81 donated and £1198.51 received by the charity after Gift-Aid is added on

I just purchased ballistic today. This is an honorable thing you're doing dlM. You're a good man. I take my hat off.

I think anyone has $10 laying around. Besides, where else can you find such a great drum sampler (and great samples!) for $10?

Thanks for your support :tu:
