499 dollars and the right App could turn the new iPad into a multi touch controller... Hmmm! I think I want one.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking too, except I'm worried that the price might only hold if you sign a 2 year contract with AT$T. I already have one of those that's slowly getting crappier and crappier. If I can get it and only have it active via wifi and bluetooth I'm in.

The $30/mo data plan is definitely month-to-month, and that's for 3G anyway. Just get the wifi only version and you're fine.

no need to get the 3g version for controler, hope jazzmutant sees the oportunity and port the lemur software to the ipod/poa/phone and sell it for like 100$ in the app store, id rush to get the small one as soon as its out

The 499 has no At&T in it. Just Wi-Fi.
