Ahh, it seems I may have touched a nerve. Youre confusing hardware platforms with software. ipad is a platform. If everyone was so happy about being locked in - there would be no jailbreak mods. Mac fanbois are always saying its all about a premium product - well, in this case - its Dell that have the premium tablet product. Im sure Apple will catch up soon.

Paying over twice as much for, dare I say it, an iPad, compared to an iPod Touch is a bad decision. Apple, you did not even make it worthwhile to upgrade. At least in the PC world, we call it Moore's law, and classify the two year old PC as a fossil.

If you really think that there are not excellent games out there built with Flash, then you're living in a world where Kongregate and Newgrounds don't exist. Which may be fine for you, but for most indie games players and the millions of casual players out there it's not.
