@Peter - IK,

so, it's still unclear, is it possible to use JamPoits and the coupon that came in the mail if buying at IK directly?

k

apparently not. You can't have use two codes at the same time. Oh well...nothing then.

From the chart on this page, it appears you do: http://www.ikmultimedia.com/Main.html?C ... /index.php

Now that the guessing is over, and that we know there's a lot of new gear AND remastered gear it might be a good time to say that when looking at AmpliTube 3 as a whole (AT3 plus the AT2, JH, and Metal remastered gear) you're not paying that much for the equivalent of almost $100,000 worth of gear (and no replacing of tube either!)

I hate to ask again but is it true?

It's true. You can either use your Jampoints, or use the coupon. Not both.

Peter confirmed this in the other thread.

Post

Still though, I mean if you have a bunch of jam points than that's still going to be sub 150, which is a fair price for the update for many many people!

I only have 30 jam points, so unless the product is released past the "preorder" date I'll be getting mine at 150 bucks. If the preorder date is missed, then I'll be paying 170 and using the jam points.

I realize it's best to save as much cash as possible, but a new uber-special product is generally going to have it's cost :shrug:

@Hibidy

If it's directed at me, I'm asking, not complaining. Nothing wrong with getting the best bargain.

It's a moot point anyway now, all questions were replied to so I know where I stand and that's all I was asking for really.

Nothing is directed at you :shrug: Or anyone else, simply stating an opinion.

All's well either way.

p.s.: 4 days left to preorder over esoundz huh ... gotta find the money quick

I do hope that the stealth board is being considered for x64 as it's unlike AT3 which likely can be used via jbridge.

I'm looking forward to it, but I am in the process of jumping to x64........

I'm pretty sure that IK Multimedia will be offering X64 drivers at launch. It's simply a MIDI controller, not a software product so no bridging would be required regardless - it a hardware device only requiring drivers.

IK Multimedia released x64 drivers for the Stomp I/O board in December of last year so I cannot imagine them not offering them for the StealthBoard when it becomes available - why go backwards?

Post

Yes we will offer x64 drivers for StealthBoard. Better not delay it at all because I want one - BAD. :) I can have gearlust over our own stuff, can't I? :) And I was joking about any delay, it is just kind of a given thing to have those drivers when hardware is concerned.

As I pointed out in another thread... FINALLY the official winners have been announced! We couldn't decide on one, so there are THREE folks that will get AmpliTube 3 free upon release. Check it out on our Facebook page: http://bit.ly/2EUwBq

Congrats!!

Off the top of my head :
- Gilmour's Fender/Hiwatt hybrids
- Ford's Dumble
- Keith Scott's hybrids (Vox/Hiwatt afair)
- Albert Lee's Music Man
- Blackmore's Marshall Major/ AKAI Reel to Reel
- BB King's LAB
The list could go on and on ...
Cheers,

:) You can use the virtual version of what he's been playing through for a while now by using AmpliTube Fender. But those are not ripped cones at all. :D
