Peter, I was playing my JC-120 the other day, and a thought occurred to me:
The AT3 Jazz Amp-120 amp model which contains the chorus module appears to be mono, even though the JC-120's chorus is stereo. I would think that it would have been better to use VRM to model the chorus in stereo in the cab section instead, similar to the Leslie cabinet.

Am I correct in my assumtion that the Jazz Amp-120's chorus is mono?
If so, I guess it's probably too late to do anything about that.

I'm still trying to find an absolute answer for your multi-controller question.

But how is that going to work in practice?
That would mean the cab is also in stereo?
How does it simulate stereo miking the 2 speakers?
Does it do this all in one cab module (A/B)?
Is there VRM involved?

OK Peter, seeing the recently announced "AmpliTube 3 Pedal" has prompted a new question...

When I got my StealthPedal, I had to reauthorize X-GEAR with a totally different serial number that started with 'SPL10' instead of 'AXG10' to get the StealthPedal to work with X-GEAR.

So how is that going to work for those of us who have StealthPedal when AmpliTube 3 is out? Will we have to get new special "AmpliTube 3 Pedal" serial numbers, or will our old StealthPedal serial numbers still work, or will standard AT3 work with the StealthPedal right out of the box?

Also, I got some of my AmpliTube editions when I bought the StealthPedal, but I already owned one of them since it came out. So do I still qualify only for the $50 discount?

AmpliTube 3 will work with the StealthPedal right out of the box.

Peter, I have a question that I would very much appreciate an answer to. I'm not a guitarist, I play keys. I am most intrigued by the new stereo routing capabilities available in Amplitube 3, which is definitely the most attractive feature for me other than the accurately modelled vintage stomps (I'm itching to try the Small Stone phaser out on my string machines!).

One thing that I do very often while creating sounds in the studio is to automate the change of various parameters, so that I can listen back to my modifications in real time. Experiments with the demo of Amplitube 2 have shown me that host automation is indeed possible. However, I am a little concerned as to how this is going to work with Amplitube 3's stereo routing.

What I want to know is - can you assign more than one switch to be automated by the same parameter? I think X-Gear uses a system where there are 16 available parameters that are available to be assigned - if that's the case in Amplitube 3, how is this going to work out for stereo routing on FX pedals? Will we have to assign automation of the same value (say, the speed of a phaser) to two different parameters in order to control both 'Stomp A' and 'Stomp B'? Or can they both be assigned to one?

The practical implications of this are that when using external controllers (like a Behringer BCR2000), it is going to make life much more difficult if the L channel of a stomp has to be assigned to one knob, and the R channel to another.

That's provided, of course, that the only stereo routing option is to have L=Stomp A and R=Stomp B. Is it possible to have one stomp screen but have them process both L and R?

I'd like to see a ring modulator in AmpliTube too. Especially now that it's going to have an Orange amp, for that "paranoid" Geezer sound.

Many years ago I had a QuadraVerb, which had a ring modulator. It wasn't that useful but I thought it was pretty cool nonetheless. I think I was able to use it to make a few free long distance calls, though...

When running the one stereo routing that has the stomps in parallel, I currently cannot assign one switch to two stomps (A & B of same pedal) but I'm not sure that's final so I will check.

You do have a routing that puts both stomps in parallel so you could use that routing and automate the single parameter on the one stomp.

Peter, can we use the StealthPedal as an ordinary MIDI CC controller, or only as a proprietary AmpliTube controller?
If we can use it with the MIDI Learn function, then we should be able to assign multiple parameters to it simultaneously.
