The stock sounds that come with Wusikstation are fair-to-middling.
Prizm (along with ArtVera and some other third-party vendors) make it shine. Prizm is well worth it, esp at the discounted group buy/library-only price.

You can use Prizm along with the other libraries. It's independent, but it uses the same formats. I'm actually using more third-party (ArtVera, Autodafe, Prizm, Manytone, BITR, Nucleus Soundlabs, etc) sounds with Wusikstation, than I am stock sounds. The group buy download has a lot of third-party included (see the names I just listed), as well as stock sounds.Caine123 wrote:but when i have wusikstation with the extralibraries is prizm not recommendable anymore is it cause i can use the libraries on wusikstation too?
I recommend Prizm. Go check the Hardcore Harmonics forum for more info.
Prizm VST is just a Wusik5 engine + Prizm Wusik-format sound sets. I got the library-only version since I already have Wusik5.

If you are getting it for cheap- I would recommend it. Although you might want to ping Karmacompose and see what he is doing with his new line of soft synths (with his own engine). Maybe some recycling of Prizm will be done.
BTW- Prizm is a beast to download- can't wait to be able to use it again on my Mac one day.

My Wusik projects and personal projects are somewhat separate, but I am going to be porting PRIZM over to a Mac format shortly. PRIZM will also be ported over to SuperCore.JavaJ wrote:If you are getting it for cheap- I would recommend it. I continue to develop for Wusik.
To the OP: You have asked over and over again about PRIZM in multiple threads.
If you go to www.hardcoreharmonics.com, we spell out EXACTLY what you get with PRIZM and there are music demos which show off the PRIZM sounds.

I do like it, i got it with the group buy thing for 50. Honestly i have not really spent alot of time with it. What i have it has impressed me,high quality sounds and good presets. A pretty complete library IMO.

Caine,
Wow.
Ummm, ok. Hypersonic 2 is Hypersonic 2.
Wusik is Wusik.
PRIZM is Wusik with a heck of a sound library.
If you love orchestral instruments, evolving soundscapes, haunting vocals and choirs, etc. and high quality sounds, then you will love PRIZM. if you are looking for lo-fi, synthesis or trance-related stuff, then you will NOT like PRIZM.

hi I was a little dubious at first thinking that if I had Wusikstation ,why do I need another.
The sounds that I am trawling through at the moment are great and would recommend them for all types of genre.
Beware of the Zip genius!!!!!!!!!It tends to act like a complete idiot.!!!!
I think that prizm are now working on making everything to be unzipped by RAR.
Once you have downloaded all sounds and presets they easily slot into Wusik's appropriate folders.
It only takes two seconds to change the skins back and forward if you want a
Blue Prizm or a Wusik whatever.it does not really matter, it is the sounds that count.
Overall I give it 100%
By the way ---WHAT IS SUPERCORE ALL ABOUT?????
Another thing ____I am looking forward to getting Auntie Vera's skin!!!!

And Wusik is a future oriented instrument, the dev is always implementing useful and powerful functions, with afforable upgrade fees. I would hope all instruments improve in the next few years as much as Wusikstation did in the last few

Sorry to the OP for derailing this thread for a sec.
I HAVE HEARD YOU ALL.
Zip Genius is soon to be no more.
I will begin making the changes to the download center.
Please note that it will slow things down for a bit - these are large files and can eat up server bandwidth on the upload.
Back to the OP's question.

Thank you. Yeah, ZG has been a pain in the butt for all and I finally have had it with the program. Changes will be made.bugbug wrote:hi I was a little dubious at first thinking that if I had Wusikstation ,why do I need another.

SuperCore is my new engine that will house my samples. I will still develop for Wusik (I love this synth), but I wanted to create something that I could customize.
I will be posting all about it, as well as a new website for it, as soon as I am ready to release it.
