Those demos are AWWWWESOME!!!
You know my only wish is it could do more ( styles, articulations etc), as I don't do Thrash, Hard rock etc - and you guys seem to nail what you do... But anyway - kudos.

Haha, I'm really glad you all are liking what you hear. Believe me this thing is auto-loaded in all of my projects by default now just because it's so fun to play
skank; I wouldn't rule out some kind of jazz or pop *specific* library later, but rock and metal is what's really lacking right now (IMO.) That being said, it's a DI library with no loops, so I have no doubt that you could fit it in a variety of musical styles.
idolo1co; For most of the demos I just used Guitar Rig 4 with either the built-in presets or one that I'm including with the library. The latest one I posted, the epic/heroic cue, used GR4 on the left and Overloud TH1 on the right. The Bleed demo I think was some combination of Amplitube: Metal and TH1 - I didn't do the tone design on that though, so I'll have to check with the guy who did (my guitarist!)
Anyway, working on a new demo now which is actually a complete song, a remix of the battle theme from Final Fantasy 6:

Hi Zircon,
I got a real kick out of your video!
You made a comment about your library and chords I didn't fully understand. I play rock, not metal. How would you describe your library's usefulness for middle of the road rock songs with strummed chords? How wide of a selection of chords are you including with the library if you sampled chord strums or if you did not, are you using individual notes with strum scripts, etc. and how does that work?
Thanks,
eDrummist

There is actually a full product manual up at our Support/Downloads page if you want to read about the patches in more depth, but here's the easy answer. We sampled single notes and powerchords (1-5-1). There aren't any sampled chords other than that. Also, the range of the instrument is not the entire range of the guitar (open sus goes from Bb2 to G5), since realistically most rhythm playing takes place within the lower range. While it's possible to do more complex chords there isn't any strumming script included.
As you can hear by our demos, the focus of the library is really to nail the bread and butter of rock/metal riffs, eg. multiple types of palm mutes, powerchords and powerchord mutes, pinch squeals, the ability to play very fast and still sound realistic, etc.

It seems so. I paid and was able to DL the library. Not sure whether there will be an update to it or whatever, but it seems to be 'it'. Can't test it right now, but the files look o.k.

Yep , just paid for it and got the 2 rar files to download (344mb compressed). It took me 4 mins to download. No error while unzipping them and the final size at the end just a little bit over 1gb.
Will test later with kontakt 3.5.....

Heh.. yes, technically it IS available. I know it's not the 14th but launching the new site with the new content ready to go made more sense than creating all the content at the last minute. The only thing missing is the actual product release announcement on the front page which will be done on the 14th.

Zircon,
Just wanted to say this is one great sounding guitar library!! As far as I am concerned what you are offering is what is so hard for me to do. I will download mine tonight!! Anyway anxious to hear what everyone thinks about it once they have it!!! Great Job
)))
Tom
pssss. To the guy who was asking about middle of the road rock I really think you can use this. I am right there with you on the style part BUT if you listen to alot of the more modern pop/rock stuff you can hear this type guitars throughout the songs so I believe you will find this will really enhance your tunes
