I've been having some stability issues with Albino 3.1b2 in Sonar and FL Studio as well. Got this message today:

I'm not sure but it seems to be related to preset changes. I'll try to narrow it down a bit.

This morning in Orion, Albino's preset display locked up after just a few preset changes. The sounds will change but not the display.

Hmm .. 32 bit or 64 bit Orion, teksonik ? And also .. I assume you have some loop running feeding Albino with notes during preset change ?

Ok, found it, indeed the same reason as in CronoX ... a bit better hidden but still. Expect it to be solved with next beta (or final release, whatever comes first

).

I had similar crashes in Sonar 8.5 x64 (and Reaper X64) with the Alpha and CronoX3 betas...crash when changing presets. So, I just downloaded all of the final releases, and these two still crash Sonar pretty regularly on the first or 2nd patch change.

they both work FINE in Cubase 5 X64 though.

and the X64 version of Albino and Octopus seem fine in all my X64 hosts.

Peter, I can provide a crash dump or whatever info would be helpful if you need it.

Hi John, thanks for the feedbak, just to be sure: when you run the 64 bit version of CronoX or Alpha you get the crashes ?

That is correct. 64-bit versions of those two crash 64-bit versions of Sonar and Reaper, but not Cubase. 64-bit versions of Albino and Octopus working fine.

I didn't do any 32-bit VST testing inside the 64-bit hosts (I do not like those bit-bridges much

)
