if there's a better forum to ask this please let me know...

I have separate guitar and keyboard MIDI setups. currently both are self-contained (i.e., an Axiom controls the synths and an FCB1010 controls the guitar stuff)

I want to integrate the two MIDI-wise. Here's what I have:
  • Axiom
    2 hardware synths
    FCB1010
    G-Major
    Nova Drive (has midi control)
Tech 21 amp (the channels are midi switchable)
what's the most efficient way to integrate these?

thx!

Actually, I don't quite see how this can be improved.
What is it, in functional terms, that you want to achieve by linking these systems?

The only thing I can imagine, is that also the guitar rack changes presets when you dial in another program on the Axiom.
My MusicCalc is temporary offline.

if I want to use the fcb1010 to control stuff outside the guitar rig I have to unplug/replug it

everything is on separate midi channels

Then it's a matter of finding a Midi Out/Through port on one of the guitar units and plug that into a Midi input. Maybe you need a Midi Merger for that, e.g. http://www.amazon.com/MIDI-Solutions-Qu ... B0002GH8OI
or a simpler one: http://www.midisolutions.com/prodmrg.htm
Maybe a splitter or thru box is needed to duplicate the FCB's output.
