And I know it from Jens!

(had it in my vst folder already, many moons ago, but never read the manual, until a certain Jens told me that should be my bedside-read :D. Best advice ever in the software world.)

The more I use it, the more I appreciate its versatility.

You still remember that? :D

I always do it like that with more complex stuff. :)

(to the others: 'bedside-read' doesn't refer to taking your lappy to the bed with you, of course

I also have to give the Tickster kudos for the support. It is quick and accurate and polite, even when the root cause of the issue is my stupidity..... which I seem to have a lot of these days.

Albeit I had little personal contact with the Tick over the years, I can say that from what I've seen here on the forums I have never had the impression of a representative of a software-company handling situations more professionally and confidentally. :tu:

Thanks guys. I have to get better at respecting deadlines, though. The Rhino update will be out, as soon as I manage to fix the filters overblowing that can be achieved with the new filters feedback feature :(

Is it time for me again to post that Peter Gabriel quote regarding deadlines? :hihi:

Don't worry about the date - it's ready when it's ready - in the meantime we'll have great joy using 2.04 . :)

As a robotics engineer, I realize the importance of deadlines. However, I also know that putting a product out with a major flaw can kill you too (e. g. Toyota). It sounds like the filter issue is pretty severe and needs to be addressed.

The important thing to note here is that communication between vendor (the Tickmeister) and customer (the Rhinoheads) is occurring and that makes it work.

Again, good support, good product, from a good company.

The cool thing is that I stumbled across Rhino while writing a review for one of Simon Cann's books. Talk about a cool twist of fate.

Yes, it's a delicate balance between meeting quality standards (I would never release a product knowing there is a bug lurking), and still getting it released (because if you never do, it will kill you just as well :)). Oh, and also the constant urge to try new things and add new features - I think I am easily sidetracked...

Hi Tick, any chance that it will be in 64 also?

I also love Rhino!

Thanx!
