What OS? How much RAM, what CPU, what Audiointerface, which Latency...? :) (32 or 64 Bit? 64 Bit OS's haven't been tested, yet).

OS Win 7 pro 32bit (erzähl mir bitte nicht ich soll xp verwenden !!!)

RAM 3 GByte (sollte wohl reichen...)

CPU Core2Quad 2,4 ghz (Kann ich nur empfehlen wenn man Musik macht :-)))!

Audio interface USB Edirol PCR-A30 Latency 6ms-Depends on ProductionWork
oder Terratec EWS MT 88 Latency 6ms

Das ganze crasht nach ca 3-4min auch genauso auf meinem
3 GHZ/ 2gbyte win7 pro Notebook :-((

running fairly well here, i was able to layer up some loops and save them and load them into the loop player and mix with them. pretty cool. much more usable now.

Mhh, guess then we can nail down the problem to Win7...Image

@Tony: Happy to hear that!

Isn't Livemachine based on Synthmaker? Maybe the core library has compatibility issues with Win 7? Just guessing...

However I wouldn't blame it all on Win 7 yet. My particular problem only occurs in Cubase. When I load Livemachine in FL9 it starts up right away. Although I haven't worked with that combination longer than 2 minutes...

No, it's based on new Synthedit 1.1 and some custom modules by me.
When I load Livemachine in FL9 it starts up right away. Although I haven't worked with that combination longer than 2 minutes...
...and exactly that is what i can't understand since here it works for HOURS...

I have a Win7-machine (32 bit AFAIK) for testing Livemachine later this day, so i will give it a try in various hosts including FL! :) (And then report my results).

Well, Livemachine might run on my PC longer for 2 minutes in FL9, too, but I actually never tried. I was just checking if it loads fine at least in FL9, which it does contrary to Cubase.

Cool. Do you also have a chance to test it in Cubase 5? In case you didn't know: there's a demo available, although it still requires a syncrosoft dongle.

Good luck and let us know about your findings!

Livemachine & FL Studio Part II - Win7

1. It works quite stable now
2. I have massive problems with recording via the mic, LM doesn't record. It works perfect with the 1.0

Cheers & Good Night,

Mhh, do you have an input signal present in Livemachine? Have you Rec/FX enabled the audio input for recording? (NOT the Channel where you want to record it to).

1. I did nothing, it just works ;-)
2. Yes, i can see the signal.
Have you Rec/FX enabled the audio input for recording?
Yep.

Cheers.

1. Ok, that's good :D
2. Ok, that's good !
3. Ok, that's not good. You can't make a single recording? What about Recording from the Drumsampler or the WAV-Players? :)

one bug that seems constant here is that loop 1 in the wav-players will stop functioning after a song is reloaded or if you load an fxp or fxb in livemachine.

another small one is the loop player bar length knobs gradually skootch downward on the gui as you turn them.

im havin lots of fun with it. the new wav recorder is nice, cool to be able to save loops that way.

Will look into that, thanks! Damn, yes, i totally forgot these  Will be fixed :D

Thanks! I thought it would be a cool idea since you can render what you hear or individual loops as well :)
