That's a mistake - there should be the MUCKUP knob :D

sorry my English very poor.

You're right, the Antress Modern Plugins are totally crap :tu:

but in this three years, i saw almost 30000+ internet comments and reviews.

really really feel tired, really too much comments, very bored.
My man antress, just turn the first page of this thread and you're gonna find my comment making compliments on your new SSL comp.

That supposed to be a joke - not an intent to bash you or your work which I really appreciate

I understand there are so many different opinions about your plugins, but even the most expensive ones went through a hard criticism - no big deal really

Just keep what you do best, after all you can't please everyone. I'm sure majority of people appreciate your plugs which are in the similar league as most of commercial ones, or even better than most of those..

Respectfully

Alex

download it, and play it, and remove it.

download it, and play it, and remove it...

or if you feel some plugin really profit to you, keep it.

this's a never ends game, enjoy the life :)
1 - Thank you for the plugins, I have the old ones too and still keep and love them. Never remove
Actually I would like very much if you still keep those online, the "Modern Painkiller" is a very simple and user friendly plugin.

2 - I used them on my free music and on my album and I should put your name on my album as "sponsor"

3 - You should put at least a "donate" button on your website.

Thank you Antress!

I think you put very much time and passion in the developing of these excellent plugins. I appreciate that!

Your plugins have reached a high level of usability and quality - it's a fantastic work!

Thanks Antress!

Just a couple of things. Pay attention to a transfer curve of your compressors. In many cases it is 'broken' in a middle. Simply, open them in VST Plug-in Analyser (VST Plug-in/Measurement/Dynamics/Static Characteristic) and you will see what I mean. Apparently, it is happening at the threshold point.

Also, some of your compressors don't compress if incoming signal goes over 0dBFS. I'm talking about the transfer function again. You can easily see it on mentioned above analyzer.

Best,
Vitaly.

That include the limiter?

I found that supplying a proper gain staging signal level (-18dbs) on the way in really helps to allow Antress's compressors to shine. BTW that new SSL has a sweet sound to it on the mix. Very nice addition. With all the controls it has (wet/dry, mid/side and the sidechain)anyone should be able to get a good sound out of it.

Thanks Antress

sightlessness wrote:Ok, now, before you do ANYTHING else, please make these plugins available for Pro Tools! In other words, make them available as RTAS too! PLEASE! I love these plugins of yours, and I HAD to change to Pro Tools 8, which is great, but so are your plugins. And FXPansion VST to RTAS is a piece of shit, it won't work! I've tried, with dozens of plugins, and they just crash Pro Tools.
Ok, I asked, hope I will be heard.
IIRC, all his plugs are built with SynthMaker, which means:
-No native RTAS
-No native OSX
-not compatible with the last 2 versions of Cubase or any VST2.4+ only hosts.
Though I must say ANTRESS's stuff is a very good example of what SM is capable of.

I'm already using them with Pro Tools 8

Are you using FXPansion's VST to RTAS adapter? That is what I'm using as well in order to use VST plugin's within Pro Tools. I don't think that is what sightlessness was referring to. I believe he meant that you can not produce anything in SM as an RTAS pllugin. Sure, you can convert them, but that is not a native format.

Thanks dude.

:)
What ever!

Yeah, Fxpansion. But not everybody has 100 bucks to buy it, so, I simply wanted to offer them as RTAS, but Antress wants to keep them exclusive. :D 8)

What do you mean "last 2 versions of Cubase"? They're working just fine on Cubase 4.
