Thanks, I'm glad you like them. Those two tunes are among the ones I personally like the most as well.

I think some of the drums are from Kaiyotis preset bank. Possibly little bit modified, don't remember anymore. You should get Kaiyotis presets if you haven't already.

Just a suggestion:

I enjoyed a lot that some people posted the patches they used in the last OSC (Rogue). (Dunno if this is usual, it's the first OSC I followed the thread closely).

Great for synth programming learning purposes IMO.
Would very much like to see this to continue.

I agree No_use .... it's good to collect all those sounds and make them available ... a bit like giving something back to the developer.

From an ethical POV when, if ever, would it be considered acceptable to modify or improve abandonware such as this?

With the 8000+ patches that are available for Synth1, it absolutely cries out for improved patch management.

still there hasnt been an elektro OSC challenge.
there was one organized by someone when the synth was not even version 1.0...and so much has changed with that synth.
synth1 challenge not for me.

Missing in Action I suspect? .... I dont think that matters though ... in the case of rogue, The synth is around, and if as well as enjoying a decent comp and collectively demonstrating the synths capabilities, we create a resource for anyone who might want to use Rogue, whether or not as a result of the comp, then I think thats still giving something back .... and a good thing

Olikana, sorry Synth1 is not for you, but it would be cool if you could stay with us. That way you could influence where the comp goes as much as any other individual.
Some of us liked your idea of running an 'Any-One-Synth-Challenge' and I think it would have gone ahead had you not said you wanted to do it sooner, and would organise it .... so I left it, and discussion has taken our plans elsewhere.

Cheers for the suggestion though, and a good time to throw it in. We have a matter of days to make a final decision on the synth we use for the next comp ... so far it's looking like we will use a B.Serrano synth, but if there is a swell of support for some other synth, then that's what we'll go with.

After we decide that, choosing synths will be the charge of whoever finishes last in comps ... starting with OSC12 .... so if you want us to use something more to your liking, now is a good time to forward any other suggestions, otherwise, fire up Synth1 and create something so diabolical that its bound to lose!

Here in the States it means a soldier is indeed Missing In Action. I assume it means the same in all military groups...
