I tried this one out, I like to sounds it makes. Veree low on cpu too.
I have questions about the oscillator part. What does the "det" do on osc1?
Is key shift "octave"? What does tune do 3 knobs under it?
pitch and fine on osc2 has 2 red light that light up on some settings, what does that indicate? "m.env"??
Basically the whole oscillator section is very cryptic.
Could someone explain what does what. I still manage to cram out some seriously untarncy phat sounds, I see some potential here

Too late - almost morning , actually - to open the program again, so I'll just use what little memory I have to help with what I remember:
Det= detune, you move it and instead of one oscillator you get like several oscillators... well, detuned.
Key shift= if you mean the two small rectangular buttons, they raise or lower the genearl pitch by one semitone at a time
Tune 3 knobs down= if I remember correctly and got which one you mean, that'ìs the general tune, useful especially for FM sounds
The red lights= a red light on indicates an exact octave - no light= any pitch in between octaves
Again, I'm sleeping and don't have the synth in front of me, so I apologize for any incorrect answer...

I have something in the works too... but it kinda sucks, I'm having second thoughts about actually posting it. :?

Edit: 3 pieces...
Impromptus 1, 2, and 3: by mrblitz000
Made in Tunafish with Synth1; no external plug-ins.
1: 4 instances of Synth1
2: 3 instances
3: 3 instances
The 3 of them together are a sort of 'micro trio.'

All in due time! It's coming! Just have to finish fighting with a hi-fi store over some faulty turntable cartridge they delivered but probably won't replace!tattiemannie wrote:10 days to go and only one track submitted?? .... very unusual! ... but maybe everyone is being sensible and taking a bit of time over their tracks??
I love my old Rega Planer but without a cartridge, playing my vinyls is kinda difficult!
Well, what I'm really trying to say is....mine will be up this weekend I hope

Have you downloaded any of the user patchbanks?

But of course! And going thru all the presets I still haven't found the right bass soundhakey wrote:Have you downloaded any of the user patchbanks?

Still haven't tried all of them, just the most popular (green/gold/nolwenn/techno essentials...) man I'm going crazy
[EDIT] And right after I said it, the bass has been found. One needs to bitch and rant a little to make things happen as if by magic

uploaded mine. I wanted to spend more time on it, but my stupid work is occupying all my music making time at the moment.
synth one thingamabob
25 synth1's
a bunch of compressors
some reverbs and a gate
never mind. I can't seem to find the upload thing anymore. Wasn't there a little upload button on the main page before?

Sorry guys, it would appear that the upload thing is indeed broken! nothing to do with anything I've done, and not something I'm able to fix.
I suggest we be patient ... almost certainly connected with a maintainance cycle, so it should sort itself out soon ... if not, I'll call support. I'll keep you posted.
Please dont post your tracks elsewhere, that's not necessary at this point in time, and when the prob is sorted, you will still have to post your tracks in the comp folder.

"Vintage bass 2" or "Vintage bass 4" with a little tweaking from "bladerunner synth1 patches". Just can't decide on which one will fit better. Still wondering how I couldn't reproduce such a simple soundhakey wrote:From one of the user patchbanks? Out of interest, which patch? Promise I won't use it(already found plenty that I like). I'm just curious as to what it was you were looking for.
Holy Mary mother of Gawd! Mine will have no more than 10, and that's including 3-4 percussion soundsAh_Dziz wrote:25 synth1's
