Still haven't tried all of them, just the most popular (green/gold/nolwenn/techno essentials...) man I'm going crazyI'm gonna lay my hands again on those knobs
, and if I fail, let there be them ugly farts instead of basses
[EDIT] And right after I said it, the bass has been found. One needs to bitch and rant a little to make things happen as if by magicGladly, there is KVR for this

I have a suspicion that Synth1 is used in monophonic mode, so you need more instances for chords
just kidding

I have written to 4shared support re. upload problem. They are usually quick to respond, so hopefully more info soon if not a solution.

I started a track last night when I opened it up today synth1 had forgotten all my sounds!!! All gone! I'm not doing it again.
It was a good experience though. Never tried to make any percussion before, got a good snare out of it! Synth1 makes me do tarnce sounds though!

Cheers for the submission guitarbro

No word from 4shared support as yet.
Sorry to hear about you losing all those sounds Scoobz, I'll give your track a listen a bit later ... hope you can join us for future comps

Exactly the same problem I have, and it's a HUGE pain in the ass. Every sound you make, you have to save it in the internal preset system, and every little modification must be saved on top of it, or you'll lose it. If you modify a sound you had previously programmed, even if you save it as a new sound in the preset system, when you open the song again you discover that it went back to the sound you modified, unless before saving the song you change the preset with a random one, then change it back to the one you just created and want to be in the song, and then save the song...scoobz wrote: Thing is when I opened it up today synth1 had forgotten all my sounds!!!
Not very spontaneous at all, but that's the way it works
Still over a week to go, anyway, maybe you can get over the unpleasant experience and come up with another track

Well, I've made a start! ... still no plan though
Still no joy with the 4shared upload link, and same happening ( or not happening ) on my personal account as with the account I use for OSC stuff ... so it's def a site problem.
If no change tomorrow, I'll set up an alternative means of gathering the tracks.
... voting still open on the OSC12 thread!

I will be using mulab free, so I only have 6 racks/sounds, anyone got some ideas on what could be nice with that limitation, I mean I cant do any elaborate beat or go wild on anything. I wish I hade 2 more sounds.
It turned out the kittens mittens were hidden in the cats pyjamas all along.

Can you bounce the tracks to audio?

Too bad, if you could do that, you'd have solved your problem... you should just convert the midi into audio, use the audio track to replace the midi tracks, and add new midi tracks that would play with the audio track (give this second version of the song a different name, like "02" or something) (I'm explaining just because maybe you never had to do this, my apologies if all this is obvious to you. With my computer, I have to bounce audio at least three or four times before a song is complete...
)
