You mean like having the presets ignore the Amp/Cab sections?BuleriaChk wrote:While I'm here-
The Boss GT-10 has a great feature called "System Amp". It allows you to assign a single amp for all the presets, so you can choose an amp/cab and cycle through every preset using the same amp - and it gives you three such choices....
This is great for zeroing in on a configuration of choice, IMO... I'd really like to see it in AT3 (and GT4 and any of the other software modelers that I use....)

Almost. Choose one amp and scroll through all the presets using that one amp.
(No amp/cab could be an option as well.)

It might be cool to have "pedalboard" presets as well as "amp/cab" presets and rack presets as well as presets for individule components.electro wrote:You mean like having the presets ignore the Amp/Cab sections?BuleriaChk wrote:While I'm here-

This doesn't show if the stomps include (factory) presets?Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:This should suffice: http://www.ikmultimedia.com/amplitube/interface/fanfarecircuit wrote:someone mentioned a model list, but i don't find one. is a complete model list available yet?
The lack of presets has been one of the biggest disadvantages comparing the
Guitar Rig - therefore I hope IK will work with this. Harry

While I agree the INIT settings in GR are a somewhat useful addition, I by no means think it classifies as a deal breaker. I mean really - when you buy a pedal does it turn the knobs for you? Presets are a good start in some cases, but deep editing and a basic understanding of what an effect does and it's functionality is what is really needed to get the most out of an amp sim and Amplitube seems to have it.Harry_HH wrote:This doesn't show if the stomps include (factory) presets?Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:This should suffice: http://www.ikmultimedia.com/amplitube/interface/fanfarecircuit wrote:someone mentioned a model list, but i don't find one. is a complete model list available yet?

Isn't this the case with almost all the plugins/presets?Jind wrote:While I agree the INIT settings in GR are a somewhat useful addition, I by no means think it classifies as a deal breaker. And yet most of us are using the presets (if there are any), either as a starting point of tweaking or just because the presets often sound so damned good! Therefore I think that your comment is a bit hypocrite (sorry to say) and won't bring anything new which we couldn't agree or knew already.
I've got both all the Amplitube products and the GR 4 and
mainly use AT/X-Gear, just because these are modelled better (especially Fender) and sound better than the GR . So far the NI's GR effects have been better - my point is: how great the AT could be with better stomps with well carefully programmed presets. Harry

I mainly prefer live playing, while I have most of the amp sims on the market, I mainly use AT with the Stomp IO, I like to use the Morley A/B footswitch to go between the Stomp and my Peavey Vypyr, I get pretty much any sound and instantly that I want. I wish they had these things for these prices 20 or 30 years ago. I would have saved a lot of money. LOL While having the equipment doesn't make me play any better, it's more like being in GC with all of the amps and no one else in the guitar section. I can only imagine what all of this will be like in 10 more years. At any rate I patiently wait for next week and AT3.

presets? we are complaining about PRESETS?
i can't sleep at night dreaming of amplitube 3. if i could save 5 bucks by omitting the presets i'd do it, because i'd be that much closer to having the money to buy this beauty.

I'm happy to report that we will have a few presets per model. I hope that helps.

I'm with you LOL. The preset Xchnge has about everything you could want, just download. I used jam points to preorder AT3 with, saved a little there. Next Week will be good.......fanfarecircuit wrote:presets? we are complaining about PRESETS?![]()

Poor man - I hope get your fulfillment asap. And no - your aren't talking about the presets, I am (and not "complaining" but "giving my constructive feedback for making the product even better"). H.fanfarecircuit wrote:presets? we are complaining about PRESETS?![]()

Like I said, we'll have some for each pedal. We could also share resources for settings for things like the new pedals like Small Stone, Electric Mistress, Guv'nor, etc?
