patches? sorry.. I couldn't access Fortune's word.. I am used to at normal bit. I know my work will not fit you. but, Accent upgrade was very nice.

and I tested some. Kick sound seems hasn't got release. There is some clik noise at the end of the kick sound. and seems It has limiter(?). when Kick + Snare, Kick volume was very lowered.

(oh.. and.. last knob was good too. I am a litte bit missed it :D )

ps. I think Percumat have to be for Fortune style like WOF. so I think don't need hurry. and I think many Fortune styler will help you.

added Decay knob to each instrument slot - so these klicks can be eliminated though these don't occur here in normal seq. mode but only at times via MIDI trigger.

I am not care about decay, but good. :) . I tested it at normal seq too.
I tested like this. all volume to zero exclude only kick. and choose any kick or hat or etc.. some cases are good. but some cases sound has clik noise like 'tick' at the end of the sound.

I guess cause there is no release(I don't want release knob) or mono mode at seq. I guess it happen when tone time is long

and when kick and Snare play same time, though I down snare volume, nearly can't hear kick sound. It seems not normal. but, I don't know well about this.

Last night I had a deeper look into this and I did notice that with a few kicks there was indeed a click but not due to any release or so but to the wave file itself - the sf2 oscillator is a bit picky. The resp. kicks have been replaced in 0.9k though there is still a similar issue remaining with the Orch drum in bank 0 which I hope to solve soon.

Is that so? I think on the contrary some might be interested in what you are doing so why not giving a try in sending 2 or 3 patches (fxp) ?
Oh, come on :D

No way, didnt think there would even be a part two :)

had a little blast of it last night and going to some today, its pretty solid.

My only beef is the gui size for my set up, i have a very awkward monitor which theres only like 2 resolutions out of the 15 that actualy work, and it fills up like half the screen, some features i cant access :(. So i was wondering would i need a special program to resize it? or even is there some sort of vst resizer out there? :P

thanks

I am a student who ready to study Fortune's word just now.
and, student can't be a book. I never have been made ambient music.

I think 'percumat2' is much important at your work.
percumat can be useful for every body, but How about announce at your home like this 'want ambient and movie musicians for percumat2 preset' after percumat2 v1.0 with 10 preset :)

and, I have got a little time for my music. :(
Hi, all. help the Fortune!

Many hosts offer scroll bars (bottom & right side) to shift the GUI in the window. Resizing would do no good as many GUI elements would be to tiny then :-(

Hi, all. help the Fortune!
well, even a student has to do some homework :hihi:
so this is your chance now :D

as you said "percumat can be useful for every body" so this is not restricted to just ambient ;-)

come on, please give us one or two examples :hyper:

cheers

P.S. By now I've found some further clues on those clicks which are caused partly by really low frequencies when pitched down all the way. Thus I'll restrict Pitch setting to -/+ 1 octave instead of 1.5 octaves and then scan my kick lib for suited samples also for a possible third bank ;-)

hey, thank you very much and actually thee are not bad - quite useable standard stuff which is also welcome ;-)

You see you can actually do it thus no need to hide your abillities ;-)

and no need to be a drumplayer as the playing is done by the machine :D
just a little knowledge about rhythms is sufficient to programm the machine.

next update:

(edit: link removed as no longer valid)

from yesterday until now I've been busy in solving those clicks with the kicks finally it turned out those clocks resulted from subfrequency distortions esp. when transposing kicks down. So i had to do two things:
1st checking all kicks for showing this issue and replace them with similar sounding ones which took me quite a lot of time mainly in finding fairly matching ones. 2nd was to limit the pitch transposition from -/+ 1.5 to -/+1 octaves

You might crosscheck the kicks in your patches as well as the Pitch settings esp. if max to left is shown which prob. is the old setting of -1.5 oct.

Also new are within the VSTi
Patchname display + selector to change patches,
option to (re)name a preset (then simply click on the text left and you can edit the name),
option to copy a preset within the current bank,
loading / saving of fxb/fxp

this should make patch handling some way easier ;-)

have fun

really that isn't cause of mono/poly? and it is sample it self problem? that's strange.. such many samples has clik noise? and.. I didn't feel it cause of pitch down :(

if sf2 itself is not wrong at other font players or samplers, this is strange thing.. though, I don't know about font osc..

anyway.. have a good day..

yep, that was indeed quite a crucial thing and I came upon it when I did notice that clicks have been varying due to transposing down. This did also affect the selection of Toms.

By now I'm filling up bank 2 and 3 with 62 samples added to each already: 16 kicks, 16 Hihats, 14 snares, 6 Toms and 10 Cymbals / Bells. Thus the assignments match to bank 0 and 1. But for the remaining part of these banks I'm not sure to keep that up - well, soundwise there are not so many variations to a basic shaker / maracas sound ... Anyway I'll do some more recordings. So weekend will see me quite busy ...

have a nice weekend :D

I' am watching fun drama series :) I will do it till tomorrow.. also, unnecessary to think life is good :)

anyway.. I can remember a similar case. I had heard similar noise at one wav file. and I cuted the end of that file a very little bit at soundforge.

of couse, I couldn't hear any noise at soundforge. but I cuted it. (maybe that wave file has some roop information or something. that can be cause of noise)

anyway..good luck.. :)

hope you had a lovely weekend watching movies :D

well, I have been really busy - here is the further progress on Percumat 2:

Update 0.9q1 - prefinal - only some more patches required to fill the internal bank up to 128 - any further contribution is welcome ;-)
- added another 256 drum & percussion sounds so there are 512 sounds in total inside now :D
- as of MIDI CC implementation, well, I did skip this as you can assign your own CC to knobs, buttons and selectors as you want it. And yes, it's got MIDI Learn.

have fun
