well... people are asking for the mutron. isn't the q-tron the same, now taken over by eh?

I've played the Q-Tron, it wouldn't be a bad one to do either. I like the really weird ones a lot too. Their NAMM booth was very cool, it really made you realize how much stuff they have! I was floored. When you go to a store they have a very small percentage of what's made by EH. You'd need a whole room dedicated to their pedals to carry them.

Oh, I also want one of the 12AY7 tube preamp pedals they make since those are great for acoustic guitar. I wonder if that was modeled and able to be put first in the chain just like people are using them on their acoustic guitar recordings in the hardware arena, maybe that would be a good step toward all the acoustic stuff we're seeing people ask for? Hmmm.

the ce-1 and univibe are already pretty good, but i agree they could use a few more... i don't remember how the original digital chorus or racks sound, but i guess those have been impoved as well.

You know, a small pack of licensed EH pedals would be pretty sweet. You guys could do the Micro-Synth, Bass-Synth, Small Clone, Q-Tron, Memory Man, Hum Debugger, some of the muff variations, etc.

Peter, one thing I keep meaning to ask: were there any changes to Amplitube's gate? I think Line 6's Noise Learn/Reduction system is a godsend when doing work with standard single coils and something similar in Ampltiube 3 (in addition to or instead of a stock gate effect) would be great.

It was redone, but I don't know the nitty gritty details - there's also added Depth control.

I still think IK should have ditched the built in gate for a Rocktron HUSH or MXR SmartGate pedal.

Are there any improvements to the automation capabilities?

Right now in AT2 we're forced to use the mouse to switch cabs or amp models (I'm not talking about switching whole presets, mind you). Did you add automation parameters so that a controller like a Novation Remote allows you to switch amp models without having to grab the mouse?

I don't see that available in the automation, currently it would have to use a preset switch (which will be instant like X-GEAR) but I will certainly pass this on along with the "rotating stomp board" and other similar ideas.

The CE-2 and CE-1 are quite different. The CE-2 is the quintessential light, bright, airy chorus, unlike the CE-1 which is dark, thick and heavy.

The CE-2 is probably the all-time king of Chorus pedals to this day.
Though it is very similar to the Ibanez CS9.
