Oh, totally missed that part :)

It looks not that bad, and I'm not scared of the words "heart"+"liver" either :D . Don't know about other parts of world, but in my homeland we have that thing called "blood sausage". It should make any unprepared person a veggie. Quite tasty if cooked right I must say.
Thanks for explanation, slugfest! (or mouxbar? :) )
[EDIT] Edited a bunch of similar looking smilies.

Great stuff!

Would you share a secret, who the feck is deadhaggi5? I'm surely missing something here
Sorry, me being obscure again.

I'll assume you know that Tattie is Scottish and what a haggis is... if not, it might make you a veggie http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haggis :hihi:

So it kind of works tattiemanie = deadmau5 = deadhaggi5 in my deranged world... :D

And actually I quite like haggis. My granny used to serve it up when I visted her. In the Lake District. Although she was Scottish.

Told you I was confused. :help:

Cheers,
Mouxbar
Oh! And isn't there a developer/plugin with the name "Flying Haggis"?

No arguments there... :?

Thanks again all, but in particular, thank you Tattiemannie for organizing this. I wouldn't have embarked on something like this without the nudge your contest gave. After having taken a mystery instrument, and making every sound from it, it kinda feels like we're MacGyvers of Audio, hehe. It makes a big point about what you can do with very little, and it's pretty incredible when you personally make that concept into reality.

I also learned that even if the instrument is inferior, or if you dislike it as I did, there's still elements that can be appreciated, and utilized to great effect. Like the distortion on this synth; At first I thought it was a stupid gimmick, compounded by the absurdly vague labels(I still don't know exactly what those knobs do). But eventually I figured out the added dimension of expressiveness it imparted, ala the last sections of my song.

The project burnt me out for the month, but I think I'll try and hit up Osc14, hopefully. With a track that's half the length. ><

And I'll start plugging the contest in general - it does need more voters.

Hi Tattie

Got your PM...

After speaking to Urs Heckman of UH-E about this competition the other day and saying it was a worthy cause,Urs has kindly refused the payment i was about to make to him for ACE synth to register to the winner and instead wanted to donate this himself. :)
A great guy indeed so what i need is the winner to contact me via PM with full name and email and i'll notify Urs who will then send the full codes.

Again big thanks Urs and congrats again to the winner/s

Thanks

Rob Lee :)

Hey thats excellent news Rob! :)

Anyway, I'm getting there slowly, ... been busy ... not least with making some progress on my synth1 track!

MOK19 has chosen Supercore plus the Monstrous AND PRIZM expansions as his prize ... so no finished tracks for a good couple of months :hihi:

Right ... onwards and upwards .... keep that ACE synth warm for me rob! :hihi:

No probs mate..

Urs donated ACE?!? Nice!

Hey, MOK19, are you doing a track for synth1? I would like to hear what you do with it. As well as a full cds worth of Rogue.

Post

Ok guys, I ask of you your patience ... it is entirely necessary to contact the prize winners one at a time, in descending order .... and it does take time.... but hopefully it wont take too long, but just want to say I've got gigs over the next 3 days, so there's a chance that's gonna slow things further.

If so, then bear with me, we'll get there! :)
