Some people will always buy the prettiest model version despite it lacking features or functionality. Heck, it even happens with sexual partners
I think most people however, do like to make sure they get value for money and rise above the superficial of a shiny/sexy gui.
I've never heard the hardware so this synth plug could be way off the mark as an emulation, but taking it only at face value, I like the sounds it makes and the gui is a nice bonus.
If the dev adds a note display for the sequencer so I can tell the pitch of each measure, it'd be a canditate at the right price.
