Just wanted to state my addiction to Delta III. I recently unearthed it and played through several presets and have to say that it fits perfectly for 80s sounds in addition to other VSTi.
Again thanks Peter for Delta III.
Still love it

I checked out Delta III a few years ago in a friends project studio and was very impressed with the capabilities. At first I wasn't a big fan of the GUI colors, but the Sound design capabilities won me over. That was indeed the main reason I purchased Alpha3 (and then Albino 3 actually, since it seemed to be closely related to Delta III as far as sound architecture goes).shortyedwards wrote:Well, I don't know anything about marketing but to my eyes, a good synth is a good synth. They certainly are classics in my ears/eyes. Maybe the person wanting to buy one of your synths wouldn't jump to the new one though if you offered an older, classic synth at a "classic price". Or on the other hand, maybe they'd be so smitten with the classic one that they'd upgrade. Beats me, but I still love my "classic" LinPlugs.
If I remember right, Albino 1 and Delta III were somewhat similar in layout and capabilities, even though the oscillators, filters, etc were all different (and Delta III could be multi-timbral). I still have the Delta III installer somewhere.bstageboss wrote:I checked out Delta III a few years ago in a friends project studio and was very impressed with the capabilities. Maybe make them like a lower-priced "no-brainer" thing to draw attention to the instruments that evolved out of them.Peter from LinPlug wrote:HeheWould there really be a point in re-releasing any older synth of us ? Are they classics ?
