Trying hard to finish, but doesn't look good with a newborn at home and some serious trouble with Synth1 patches and settings disappearing for no good reason..tattiemannie wrote:Anyway, back on topic .. how are those tracks coming along?

Hi, the odd thing is, I remember it being in Goldbank, and the author has its FINE soundshakey wrote:Somewhere, I think it was in the Synth1 thread, someone posted up a set of all of the available Synth1 patches - 8000 or so! - I've checked, it is in amongst that lot. Cheers
in all-caps, but there are different versions of that bank
Whatever bank it is, its likely #70 or #108 within the bank, as those are the blanks in
projects preset list in Cantabile 1.2, since it can't find the bank either

Here comes my little tune "Follow the Groove"
These are the ingredients:
11x Synth1
7x Ableton Live EQ8 (part of Ableton Live)
4x Kjaerhus Classic Compressor
1x Kjaerhus Classic Master Limiter
2x Kjaerhus Classic Reverb
I prototyped and arranged the track with Cognitone MPS/Synfire 1.1.7.
Then in Ableton Live 8.0.8 I added additional percussion tracks before orchestrating, finetuning and mixing everything.
Hope you like my track.
stay tuned

You have to save each patch as preset withing the synth, it doesn't save them with the song

Tattiemannie, if you really want to use Phobos that much I'm quite happy to switch my vote - again - to Phobos.
I can't see the attraction myself - seems very, very limited - but you seem to have a strong preference for it, and it's your gig, so go for it.

Apart from the odd spell where he is doing his cute thing, it is mostly a serious headache with lack of sleep and crying for no apparant reason, so almost more happy to be with my synths in general atm and leave the woman to it...Mac of BIOnighT wrote:better than any synth from the point of view of joy, thoughV'ger wrote:doesn't look good with a newborn at home
Well it does, but then suddenly decides to switch to another patch at which point I have to load a saved one like you say (which I of course have modified since last). Other times the synth stop sounding at all. (especially the second instance loaded, have seen this in other projects too)Mac of BIOnighT wrote:V'ger wrote: and some serious trouble with Synth1 patches and settings disappearing for no good reason..

But very nice to hear the submissions so far with their varied soundscapes. This synth has some drawbacks with the patch thing, but when it comes to versatility and range few will match it. (for sound quality and usability also imho)

Haven't tried Anubis yet. Looks easy to use. Hopefully I can get it to make some cool sounds.
