It's particularly unusual because Image Line's Morphine, Sawer and Toxic Biohazard all work with Logic.

I guess they made a few short cuts with Drumaxx because of the pricing. I'm sure they'll will have a 'proper' AU version ready soon...

It's definitely working in my Logic.

BUT, it shows up as "drumatrix" in my instruments. Perhaps my AU validation worked on an earlier version, and when I downloaded this it slid in beside it and took its place when I removed the earlier beta component. I think this may have happened because on loading Logic it did not go through the usual AU validation stuff.

Fabtastic! Love it! Also becoming a big an of IL-Maximus, IL-Vocodex (best Vocoder ever) and of course the brilliant IL-Harmless!

It's very possible you installed both downloads from their site.
Only install the Drumaxx package and install. Do not install the one below it that says, "extra content".
Trash all the Drumaxx files on your mac and install only the Drumaxx package and it will work.
If not, then you have not put your reg code, in your preferences folder.
ie:user name/Library/Preferences/ImageLine

I had the same problem and it worked on my mac, after doing this.
No 'extra content' was d/led. And I've put the regfile exactly in that location. As I said, AU version runs OK in Reaper, only the VSTi seems to be crippled...

Strange that the older beta AU version worked with Logic but the release version doesn't (unless you previously installed the beta). :?

Does Image Line know about this? There seems to be no email contact available from their web site and I don't want to join their forum...

Yea they know about it.

I had the beta loaded, and the final version still fails AU validation... I just overrode the AU val and ran it anyway. Rather stange that it works in Reaper though... AU and VST. I'm thinking it's not that much of a priority for them.

It's just everyone keeps talking about this Drumpad and how you need FL to make it work etc.
He wrote 'Sorry if this is a stupid question but do you need Fl to use this??

Again this can be read 2 different ways because 'this' doesn't refer directly to either Drumpad nor Drumaxx,

He then goes on to say 'It's just everyone keeps talking about this Drumpad and how you need FL to make it work etc.'

So he 'may' be thinking it's an FL plugin only because everyone keeps saying you need FL to use drumpad. So I thought he may be getting confused about the whole plugin, thinking it's FL only...

Now we can carry on in circles, but the meaning of 'this' can be interpreted 2 different ways in his first sentence.

So I may not be WRONG, then on the other hand I may be WRONG!

and vice versa
Thanks for fighting over me guy's, i'm kind of touched :hihi:

To clarify "this" was Drummaxx not Drumpad. I was asking if you could use Drummaxx without FL because i was confused by the chatter about Drumpad and it being a great piece with FL. (I hope that clairifes my stupid question  )

As it can be used in any DAW I will be purchasing.

My pleasure :hihi:

You won't regret your purchase. It's a great tool!

PS: it wasn't a stupid question at all.

Here is a 909 kick preset i made, if anybody interesting:

http://fileshost.com/download.php?id=94FC621E1
or here:
http://www.2shared.com/file/11667260/aa ... 9Kick.html

Cos you don't find 909 kicks in factory presets(at least I didn't find it)

Edited: just re-uploaded it with the better quality and inside the kit.

Hi JMC.

What is your OFFICIAL STATEMENT about the DRUMAXX and LOGIC INCOMPATIBILITIES ?
It's a bug ? There will be an update soon ?
I want to buy it ( great sounds posted on your site ) but the demo version doesn't work in my system ( MacPro, 10.5.8, Logic 9.1 ).
So, i'm waiting for your message here.

Thanks in advance,
Best.

You are welcome! :) Also you can re-download it, cos i improved the quality and saved it inside the kit, not just as a separate sound.

The official statement is that it's a bug and that we'll fix it as soon as we can.
