is the mapping for this patch listed somewhere?
also, how do you get the pitch to change on the low drum sound (mapped to Eb 3) for that cool sound they get from pressing on the skin with the wrist? pitch bend doesn't make it happen
thx!

Woops, sorry missed this. There is no listing of the mapping anywhere. As far as changing just the pitch of one of the tablas you can do that with ZONE editing. Just click the zone button and then press the key you want to tweak the pitch of and then change the pitch in the synth-edit parameters. Then hit zone again to go back and save the patch back! A lot of this is in the manual and also since Sonik Synth 2 is really SampleTank engine underneath there you can learn a lot by watching the videos I did on SampleTank which you can view on IK's Youtube or on www.ikmultimedia.com

hey squids,
I know how to tweak the pitch
a very characteristic sound of the tablas is when the heel of the hand is used on the low drum to apply pressure, or in a sliding motion, so that the pitch is changed during the sound's decay. it's like a low to high swoop. That's what i'm after
there's a sample you can listen to here:
