I don't have any official word but remember that Ampeg SVX models will still benefit from the new speaker cabinet/room work for sure. Give them a try through AmpliTube 3 and you'll likely be happy.

Downloaded the demo. What happened to Vintage Metal Lead, the Marshall from Amplitube Metal? The other ones are there but this one isn't, and it was arguably the best Marshall in the series. Still looks pretty impressive though. I might not leave the house this weekend.

Well, my download issue was solved; thanks to IK!

Anyway... here is a little tone snippet from me:

Didn't mean to post this in the other thread!

Taking a short coffee break. First impression is VERY positive. So many genuinely pleasing, usable tones just flicking through the presets that it's now a pleasant kind of "option anxiety" deciding which tone to use for which part, instead of a struggle just to get something that works. I don't find myself wanting to bypass the cabs and replace them with 3rd party impulses now, either - things must have improved considerably in that department.

My jaw did drop a little when I saw the plugin grab up over 300MB for itself when I instantiated it, but I'm not going to complain too much about that given the quality of what's on offer in AT3. It's just one more reason (along with Omnisphere and large Kontakt libraries) why a new Win7 x64 system really needs to be in my near future.

Unfortunately, it's getting to be a necessity for many. The good news is that if you can make the jump it's a REALLY big jump! :)

If you are talking about the British Lead S100, that Marshall is from Amplitube JH. The Marshall from Amplitube Metal is called Vintage Metal Lead and it does not show up in the list of amps.

British Lead S100 is in the Crunch group. The 3 other Marshalls, including Vintage Metal Lead, are in the Lead group.
