No, not at all...you weren't rude in the least...thanks for the help!Richard_G wrote:I completely understand your frustration, and I didn't mean to come across as rude or anything. Merely trying to offer some solution while your waiting.B.R. wrote:Yeah, I did manage to find that the demo was up, so I'll definitely do that. It's just infuriating that suddenly I've disappeared from IK's view. I only own about 15 of their products...Richard_G wrote:May I suggest that you download the demo until you get your e-mail? That way you will at least be able to check it outB.R. wrote:Peter,
Are you there? Apparently no one else is at IK. I never got an email with a link to my AT3 download purchase (pre-oredered last month). Any insights?
Thanks,
B.R.
Good point, though...duly noted and taken.
Now go get the demo! I bet you'll love it!

Thanks, Peter--I'll wait the rest of the day...I was just frustrated that my emails and phone calls weren't getting me any info...as far as I'm concerned, you're the "horse's mouth", so I'll wait patiently now...Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:I wasn't here for a few minutes
the suggestion to download the demo was spot on. You can authorize when you receive your email. They will all be put to folks today. Apologies if I have not stated that in this particular thread. Thanks!

So, I was worried that I had been forgotten about but IK support sent me my email for the pre-order today so kudos for the GREAT FOLLOW UP.
Also, you have to admit that IK did a good job in making this great major upgrade affordable to existing customers.... this cost me $99 (granted I had to use JAM POINTS, but still).
Thanks IK
Jim

Jim - I knew when you mentioned who was helping you (Gary), you were in good hands and had faith. Or else I'd have scooped you up but SO not necessary when you're in his hands. Glad you are all worked out and happy.jkleban wrote:So, I was worried that I had been forgotten about but IK support sent me my email for the pre-order today so kudos for the GREAT FOLLOW UP.

Well, It sounds great when its working. When I try to change presets a couple of times, it shuts down my whole audio system. I have to restart. Stand alone does not work at all. Using DP and an ultralite, with mac 10.2.6.
Will try again later. Probably a bug. Anyone else having problems.

So far so good, but I have run into one thing that I can't seem to fix. Every time I close and restart AT3 the input gain defaults back to +6. I usually keep it at 0 in X-Gear, and it stays. Anyone know how to make it stay where you put it in at3?

Congrats to the boys and girls at IK Multimedia...I've only had an hour or so to play around with AT3, in between keeping children amused and doing chores, but even through my ordinary Rotel hi-fi amp in the loungeroom AT3 sounds AMAZING! The Rezo pedal is amazing - my 4 yr and I were making music with him bouncing a foam ball off the guitar strings while I played the chords.
There is literally thousands and thousands of hours of fun in this software making the most of the amp and pedal combinations. Have to keep reminding myself to keep the music as the focus and not the gadgets - but that said I know what I will be doing for the next couple of weeks in the small hours.
Once again, full marks to all at IK Multimedia - its f#$k*n awesome..

have had a few probs too.. if i try change audio settings on my audio hardware panel i'm getting crashes (standalone version) it wont see it at all with my default soundcard setting of 48000 had to change back to 44100 sample rate.tntgraham wrote:Well, It sounds great when its working. (48000 seemed to work fine on j.h and x-gear in the past tho.)
If i change audio settings in another program and re-open AT-3 i'm getting crashes too.
Also a little bit of clicking even on eco setting (even tho cpu is at 11%), not too bad tho. Its all working at the moment and not keen to change any settings
til i have a bit of a jam with it. Probably have problems tho when i use my recording apps and have to change audio settings.
its a pretty old laptop/single core win xp.. probably have to get a new one soon
Audio interface - novation x-station
Edit- also gui takes up more than the depth of my screen (standalone)
would be good to be able to minimise 4 track section.. is it possible?

I tihkn it would be nice to be able to minimize the 4 track section. I will never use it. I record with Sonar.
My laptop is a 2.40 Core2Duo with 4 gigs of RAM, running Windows 7, and I run it with everything on high quality and with all oversampling on. No hitches at all. I figured I would point this out for anyone wondering what they need to run it with all the bells and whistles.
So far I am really enjoying this. I think there are some nice upgrades here. I am amzed at how much I got for the upgrade price.
