Hi guys
Apologies first for the newbie question but I am wondering if Cantabile is suitable for my needs.
I would like to be able to load all the following simultaneously....and then dial up a midi channel on my RD700GX and be able to immediately choose the instrument I want, rather than load each one separately
These are..
(1) Ivory Steinway piano (Midi channel 2)
(2) GVI (Giga Virtual Instrument) with PMI Emperor loaded (Midi channel 3)
(3) Kontakt 4 with Scarbee Classic Electric Piano loaded(Midi channel 4)
At present I can only use one at a time, and while gigging I would like the choice of the abovementioned 3 libraries
I am using a Dell Latitude dual core D820 (T7600 2.33Ghz) with 2GB Ram, RME Hammerfall 11 Multiface, and Glyph GT062 firewire drive.
Mal
Is Cantabile suitable for this

Basically this should work.
To check if your machine can handle this is another story - but what about downloading either Cantabile Lite or one of the demo versions to find out...

As someone who's used channel switching for loading up different instruments during a live performance with Cantabile, get it all set up first and you'll be smooth sailing when performing. No doubt about it.
