Are you finding factory presets that used to use it are missing?

There are factory presets for all amps, except "Vintage Metal Lead". There were 14 presets in Metal.

I should say I did like how it auto detected the Steath Pedal and was automatically setup to control any wah pedal as soon as you loaded it in a stomp slot. Seems my Vox hardware wah pedal will collect even more dust now.

Yes, the tight integration is something that saves me much time I'm loving the WH10 wah myself.

Thanks. I see that - my list has AmpliTube Metal > Amps > Vintage Metal Lead but none under Amplitube 3 > Amps!

This thing sounds absolutely brilliant. There's so much good stuff here I don't know where to start. The new Vox, the Jazz 120, the Orange, the clean Boogie, the Leslie, etc. Not to mention the cabs. There's still so much I haven't even touched yet. The swell pedal into the echoman is instant backwards guitar. What amazes me about the amps is how little tweaking is needed. On a lot of them I'll call up the default setting and play for a good 10 to 15 minutes before I realize I haven't touched a knob.

I have a question:
OK, so now Amplitube supports stereo routing, but do the effects accept stereo input? I mean, are they true stereo? For example, can I run a stereo electric piano track through the analog chorus in the rack and keep the original stereo information of the piano track without summing it first in mono? It seems to me that this is not possible.

When using routing option number 2, a stereo signal is split in two: the left-hand signal is routed thru Stomp A, Amp A, Cab A, Rack A and the right-hand signal is routed thru Stomp B, Amp B, Cab B, Rack B. All stomps,Amps, Cabs and Racks seem to be Mono, so it appears that the "stereo routing" in reality means "dual mono routing" ... i.e. if you want an analog chorus in the rack placed on a stereo signal, then you need to place an analog chorus in Rack A and another analog chorus in Rack B ...

I've always been a GR4 fan, the interface is just so elegant. That's one thing I wish Amplitube would try to copy.

That said, Amplitube 3 sounds amazing. The cabinet/mic/room tweakability is brilliant. Very intuitive and results in very natural sounding space. Forget the rack reverbs, just tweak the cab/mic/room settings. GR4's cabinets/Control Room seem restrictive in comparison.

I will. I've been having some issues with my iMac and garageband so I think the problem may be with my computer. After I do some more testing I'll report if it continues.

Been experimenting... clicked around all the presets (I thought) - then I clicked the little button (at the top) that says PRESET BROWSER (or something) - seemed to load presets for 5 friggin' minutes and then I found 100's and HOLY MOTHER OF GAWD I found NIRVANA... try it. I don't remember all those in the menu's? TRY IT!

I also pushed that magic button last night only to discover I'm
such a spoiled brat that I wanted a progress bar, because of the endless loading of presets

There must be something to the LePou amp sims, since so many seem to like them, but the results I got trying them (mostly HyBrit) in tandem with Redwirez cab impulses just didn't excite me that much. I don't know if I was somehow not dialing them in right or if they're simply not to my taste.

I tried to demo Peavey Revalver, but that didn't turn out to be possible. Every time I tried to instantiate the demo in Reaper, it would get to the "authorize or run in demo mode" splash and completely lock up my computer, requiring a forced reboot.

In Reaper, some things seem to demand being in a folder in ...Steinberg\VstPlugins,
even if its just a .dll and a .fxb, or just the opposite, so experiment. I've also had Reaper toss up a requestor hidden behind the main gui on occasion, causing me to ponder
why nothing responded. I would try modifying the path of the Peaver, and rescan the plugins. Good luck
