The problem is that I pre-ordered and paid for a full product. Why in the world would I want the demo version? What did I pay for then?

The demo *is* the full product, without limitation and fully functional for 10 days. Long before it expires you will have the serial number from eSoundz so that you can permanently authorize it. You don't even have to download the product again to complete the process.

The demo is just the same as the full product though. It can be authorized, and, once authorized, it's the same thing. No need to re-insall anything. The full product installed from the disc will also start in demo mode until authorized.

The demo from IK will be exactly the same as what you will recieve from esoundz. Same challenge/ response , same authorization procedure.

Woah, good thing I work on weekends too... alright so, welcome to the esoundz part of the company forum where whether you realize it or not we're going to protect you getting great deals by moderating the *!@* )# out of a thread like this and deleting emails that are only going to cause a problem for esoundz customers... read our company forum rules if you're Each company forum has its own rules and this section is not "free to say just anything you want". We have to make sure that a bunch of banter doesn't actually spoil it for others who are happy with say something like giving you the serial number (which btw should be in your download area now) out of the box and then giving you the option (which will come in a follow up email) to actually have the box and disc shipped to you. Now, as far as how we communicate and handle these things more clearly when some of it can't be "official" that is a challenge. One thing we're working on is product-specific news in the back end of esoundz where you can check the status of the launch of a product and shipping or download info.. that way i t is for customers only and not something one might call "advertising" if you know what I mean. But currently we don't have that feature. News in the back end goes to EVERYONE on esoundz and that would be too much. So that and a long list of other feature changes (we also had a bunch of issues now solved with email newsletters) will make it a better "more informed" experience.

Luckily we do also have this forum where you get to talk to the owner as well... so if you're here reading THIS then there's really no reason not to know what's going on. Surely there's a thread (like this one) where it either says what's up or you can just ask... and get an answer from me even on Saturday morning or 3 am Friday night sometimes.

Now, some rules here. One is no more discussion of boxed vs. download in this thread. For good politics posts will just be edited or deleted if that gets out of hand as it just did. If you're puzzled by it I'm sorry. You can't have everything I mentioned above, including me coming in here in my regular life hours to explain we have to be careful with what can be considered "advertising" or causing potential confusion, AND just let people say just anything they want in our company forum. If you don't know why we have to do that it isn't going to be explained any more than what I said above and what is said in our own company forum rules thread. A Multibox is what IK calls what we called a "DL Flex Pak" with SR products. Basically it is a product that allows you to choose amongst a multiple choice of things. It also probably means you got it at a chain store? Or perhaps the T-RackS Singles which is a Multibox (although we haven't released the free one yet in this). Anyway, of course doing support for other stores for other company's products would be going a little too for for this SR & eSoundz forum. Despite partnering with IK on SampleTank products and selling the products on esoundz this is actually not an IK run forum at all... and we only let Peter post in here because he's a cool guy. Just kidding. (I mean he IS a cool guy, not kidding about that part... and many of us know him for years on here as a certain actor )

Actually, because we all love Allen here too others pitched in (on a Saturday! Very proud of that) to deliver as many serials as possible - should be all of them so far.
