how to get chords out from wav instrument file?

Melodyne Editor has a great tool to do this. I agree with DrawMusic... sometimes it just doesn't make sense. You can train your ear for many years and still won't be able to transcribe everything, especially some complex jazzy stuff. Remember that Beatles chord/hit (spread over a few different instruments)? It took them 30 years or something to finally -- I think it happened last year -- map out the actual notes that were played.
